TechTalk – How to find inspiration for your blog posts
If you are a blogger, it is important that you post regularly on your blog. There are two main reasons on why you should post regularly; (i) it is important for your readers to find fresh content on your blog instead of old and outdated content for a long period of time (ii) in term of Search Engine Optimization, SEO, it is important that you keep your site active and try to write as much as possible in order to improve your blog ranking for certain keywords. However, sometimes the well does run dry, and what do you do when you are running out of idea of what to write. Where do you get ideas from?. Here are some suggestions on how to find inspiration for your blog posts.
Checkout what is “hot”
One of the easiest way to seek for inspiration is to checkout what’s hot on Technorati. By finding out what topics are widely discussed in the blogosphere, maybe you could come up with a post on it, and you may get some fresh traffic to your blog.
Readers’ comments
Comments on your blog are good inspiration for blog post. Read all comments left on your blog by your readers and write a post on discussion or conclusion based on the comments.
Start something new
Start something new today. Pickup a hobby and learn something new. Share your learning experience with your readers. It is a good way to reinforce what you have learned so far and also a good source for blog post.
Visit Other Blogs in Your Niche
Visiting other blogs in your niche is a great way to find new topics. If you agree with the bloggers point of view, maybe you can add your voice and expand on his opinion. If you disagree, you can always share your thoughts and explain why you feel that way.
Subscribe to news, RSS feeds
Subscribe to latest news update or blog RSS feeds updates. Monitor what other bloggers are blogging at the moment. This is a good manner to remain updated on current events and what’s going on in other parts of the world.
Review, Review
There are eternal reappraisals you can write: books, movies, music, websites, magazines, etc. The thoughts are endless. You can really compose a reappraisal on just about anything.

SEO are techniques for improving your blog/site ranking in search engine like google for certain topics/keywords. For example, if your blog is related to Gold Investment, if you enter these keywords into Google search, a blog/site with good SEO will appear at the first page of the search result. It is always better for a blog/site to appear at the first page than much later pages in order to have better traffic.

Sometimes old photos is also a good source , you can write s story from it.

Great tips. I usually visiting techmeme.com to find my inspiration. I also make a good use of Digg upcoming Story to produce more post topic for my blog.
Those are good tips, but, for me, lots of vodka works the best.
