A blog that cheers me up !
First day back to school, did not has access to net in the class. After school, I went to do some errands. The first thing I did after I came home was “bottom-up” a glass of orange juice (best thing to do in this hot summer Florida weather),then I went on the line, check my blog and realized not many readers today, sigh !
I think many of you here can identify with me about “time challenge syndrome” on blogging if you have a full time job, or a full time student, and have a family to take care.
But, this blog cheers me up . This is a blog on Darren’s sneeze page titled : When it Feels Like Nobody is Reading Your Blog.
These are the exact words that really uplifted me !
So my advice to new bloggers who feel like no one is listening is to not give up and see the experience of preaching to the empty pews on your blog as a learning experience.
The things you learn now will shape your future blogging, will grow your understanding of your topic, will grow your character and make you into a better blogger.
I think we all have gone through that stage during our earlier days of blogging or still going through it now that “no one read our blog”. I talked about this feeling here.
In fact, this topic comes so timely. I was talking to Mayank yesterday about niche. His advice to me was I should spend like about 75% of my time blogging on investment, gold and silver and not to be distracted by all the other topics. I was pondering about his words again and again as I washed dishes, cleaning our bathrooms, and even driving my car to school today. I thought to myself , what happened if there’s no one who wanted to read because I had my experience on my investment blog.
Wow, I think my husband would be so encouraged because he feels like that now. He has been blogging on reformed baptist apologetics for quite a number of months, there are not a lot of readers but he still keeps writing
.
So, be passionate of what you are doing, continue to blog !
Cheers !

Hi hi… sorry I was so quiet. But if you were to see, most of the onshore Malaysians were quiet yesterday. Streamyx (our local broadband) wasn’t being very helpful. That, compounded by my company’s stoopid bottlenecks made me a disconnected crazy nut the whole of yesterday.
P.S. Don’t just blog about gold and silver. That’s not all you.
Yeah be optimistic, I am still reading your blog as I am reading in my google reader.
Cheer up!.
Helo, May u have a great weekend. Cheers.
Thank you everyone
-.
I went to bed at 8:30pm last night. My record.
.
I was very tired plus I took my husband advice of going to be earlier for my own good
I went to my monthly pacemaker check, the technician after the usual EKG, ECG etc told me the pacer need to be replace.
I was a bit in shock because this is only the 5th year, it is supposed to be replaced after 12 years. She said it has been used too much, fired too much.
My husband said I worked too hard so the pacemaker fired too much. I don’t know if I agree with him or not. I need to find out more. My next 2 weeks lectures are on cardiac care, pacemaker, all CVD (cardiac vascular disease etc…), so I should know more as long as I don’t die on the operation bed, ha ha ha ha.
Don’t worry for me lah, if the good Lord still has unfinish things for me to do on this earth, I shall return
:):) and blog
:), ha ha ha.
Cheers.
Cirnelle,
Blog some joke too , right, ha ha ha ha. I think a lot of my bloggers like to read some light hearted articles too, ha ha ha ha.
streamyx reli teruk these few days. *sighs*
mm, yea, ppl like to read some light stuff. not sure if my blog is moving that way. too much “motivational” stuff will somehow backfire
Jamy, I do visit your blog from time to time
Although I’m the last one in your commentator list ;o)
Alvin,
It is alright to blog “motivational” stuff, but you can add on “light hearted” stuff now and then.
:).
You see Darren’s , the problogger do that sometimes so is Kuanhoong, the tech sifu.
I love it especially after Kuanhoong goes to some interesting places and he would bring back the beautiful pictures and blog about those interesting events, places and people.
It is a break from his tech guru style to come down to our human level (yes, tech people are a bit robotic, you go to agree with me cos they used to tell me that when I was a system gal
So might be you can add on one or two comics post every now and then ?
, just my 2 cents suggestion
.
Jamy
Nightwing,

Thank you for your concern about Jean.

Bee,
, zero commentators.
:).
I know you are my faithful supporter. I see the links on the side bar, thank you so very much.
Don’t worry about the top commentators.
In fact, at first, I was also a bit “terkejut” one day I found all my commentators have gone
I panic, wrote to my tech sifu, you know who lah, he said, aiya, those commentators restart every week one lah.
Alamat, panic for a while.
So we all after all are human. We love to be loved and love

Hello Jamy. You have a pacemaker? And it’s running out on you in less than half the time? I wonder if they have lifetime warranty ones? Oh, I think I just made a pun. Oops!
It is supposed to run 12years but it is kaput now in 5 years
:):).
:)).
I don’t think it costs me anything to change (our insurance cover all the cost
