Hmmm… why worry about Alexa ranks ? about traffic ? about blog contest ? Buy gold, buy gold stocks, buy gold coin. You never knows one of these days someone is going to buy from you,the collected gold coin that you have for US$100 million ? Don’t forget to share the profit with me :).

Why bother to count blog stats like me and Ken. “Susah lah” (too difficult road to thread).

  1. Jamy
How nice if I have that kind of coin.
I probably don’t have any gold coins.
I know I have a bunch of silver coins passed down from 2 generations to my husband and me. They are too heavy and occupy far too much space. I have no idea how much their worth.

  2. Jesie,
I will find out a couple of reliable silver coin .

Silver is the best investment the last few years.
Silver was about $3 per oz in 2000.

    Say a person has $35k in 2000.

    Scenario 1 :
    1.He used $30k to buy a $120k house.
2.He borrowed 90k from bank for 10 years.
    3. Say he get a flat mortage interest rate of 5%.
    4. Interest on his total mortage for 10 years comes up to be $45,000.
    4. His house cost him = 120k+45k=165k
    5. Say in 2008, his house worth 200k, say his closing close is $5k and his tax is $5k.
6.Might be his net profit is about 25k.

Scenario 2, this guy used his $30k to buy 10,000 oz of silver.
Every month, he borrow $750(that is the money the man in scenario 1 pay his home) + $375 (monthly interest for home)
    = $1125
2000, each month he would buy $1125/3=373oz of silver
For a year, he would buy 4500 oz of silver
Say each year silver increase and his purchase power of silver became smaller
For calculation simplicity, say average he bought 3500 oz of silver per year for the next 10 years, Total silver bought for 10 years :
    10,000 silver +
    35,000 oz of silver
    = 45,000 oz of silver.

In 2007, silver worth 13.50 an oz
45,000 oz of silver worth $607,500.

I am just using simple maths but if you calculate correctly, they worth about $1 million now !

See, a lot of people did not know that.
