I did that because I do not want to have access to any computer and web :). When I get home, the first thing I check on the internet is today gold price and Crude oil price, of course; and I got a shock of my life, $HUI (gold stock index) has gone up to a point where I have never seen and gold nearly touch $800 and my portfolio…

And look at SSRI , this stock is incredible (the world largest silver production company). I bought it around $3 + in 2002, yes I am still holding it. I bought it whenever I have dry power ($USD), I even have a chunk in my retire fund :Roth IRA. When I left my first job, I transfered all the retire money I had in my company’s 401k account to an online brokerage’s (Ameritrade) Roth IRA account . I don’t have a whole lot of money in my retire fund here in the US because I have not worked for a long time here. However, with the little money I got, SSRI is able to give me a handsome profit (It is for sure more than I have if I had kept it in term deposit for 3 years, I left my job in 2004 when my son was 8 months old).

If you don’t, let me know what other investment in your mind will fare better than gold investment the next 10 years to come. I can’t wait to hear from you because I am always eager to find new investment. Make sure you tell me one not many people know yet. Remember what Warren Buffet said :

Most people get interested in stocks when everyone else is. The time to get interested is when no one else is. You can’t buy what is popular and do well

Might be I am getting better than Warren, ha ha ha, just a joke, I can be a joker at times :).

I do hope I get to convince some of you, my readers, to seriously looking into investing gold and silver :).
