When someone insists that democracy comes from voting booth not the street, he rightly describe the kind of election that exist in country that has democracy rule. However, if he does not understand the whole point about this rally is citizen is demanding a fair electrode reform. Needless to say how much education or reading this person has done is a big ? mark.
What is democracy ? defined by Merriam-Webster Online Dictionary
1 a: government by the people; especially : rule of the majority b: a government in which the supreme power is vested in the people and exercised by them directly or indirectly through a system of representation usually involving periodically held free elections
2: a political unit that has a democratic government
3. capitalized : the principles and policies of the Democratic party in the United States
4: the common people especially when constituting the source of political authority
5: the absence of hereditary or arbitrary class distinctions or privileges
How could you have democracy when there is an arbitrary class distinctions like the Datuks and Datins ?
What has eduction done to the young people ?
Has the education system gone wrong ?
