I do believe our brain has this special ability or function which capture special moments which we call memories :). Memories are either sweet or bitter. Those ones that are sweet , we cherish for life, likewise the bitter ones, we buried under our brain. Special places, special people, special moments are which are our sweet memory are those that have special place in our heart. St. Augustine is one of those special place for me. We spend one of our honey moons (yes, we are those lucky ones who have not only 1 honeymoons but a few :)). Even after our honey moons, we go there year after year and we have never get bored with St.Augustine. It is a romantic place, there are a lot of art galleries, fairy tales bed and breakfast Inn, restaurant that overlook the harbor which serve the best wine and steak, oldest castle and city tour horse ride. The river is so romantic that there is no reason you should kiss your loves one sitting on those bench.
St. Augustine, Florida is the oldest city in America’s. It is home to many artists and art-lovers. The St. Augustine Artwalk which is happening on Friday and Saturday, December 7th and 8th, along with the first Weekend of each month thereafter makes the city comes alive with music and art exhibits. If you love music and art , you need to visit St. Augustine because it’s all about music and art in America’s oldest city on the first Weekend of every month. The art galleries of St. Augustine sponsor FREE, self guided monthly Artwalks, featuring the finest collection of eclectic art in North Florida.
The best part of this is you don’t have to worry about parking because there are free parking and free Sightseeing Train and Trolley tours are also available. I love the Trolley tours because the tour guides are well trained to brief you the history of every corner of St. Augustine. However, if you are someone who like to walk, you can do a self-guide walking tour. With St. Augustine Artwalk, you can explore whatever type of art tickles your fancy: from painting to photography, architecture, music and more. Oooh, it makes me scream when I write this post, I want to go today ! We might as well since our 4 years old is having a stay over with one girlfriend, Rachael :).
