i think pablopabla is running some sort of competition about the true meaning of blogging. i have yet to submit my entry… dunno if i will have time to write one.
one thing for sure… money is not the reason why everyone started a blog… but is the reason why most continue to blog.
yeah when I started blogging I never thought of making money. I love blogging and it would be nice to make some site income with the condition that it will not jeopardize the quality of the blog.
Long long time ago, I started blogging like writing a personal journal. Caught in the wind of Malaysian politics, I think I’m beginning to take on more of “citizen journalism”.
When it was just a “journal”, I never cared how much traffic I get, I could write out my rants and ramblings without anybody knowing. Now that my blog has evolved into “citizen journalism”, and I feel the need to get the truth to as many people as possible, traffic matters to me now.
Let’s face it, traffic is important. Unless you don’t care about bread , you can be idealistic as you want but when the crunch comes, bread is important to us all. Traffic translate to $.
When you are single, you can live in a apartment with 5 room mates, when you have a child, you want him/her to have backyard to play with. And the best scenario is you want to be able to spend more times with him/her when they are young, that means someone has to be home and that means one of you need to be at home to nurture that child. And that mean $ $ $. And when he is older, you want to have enough money for his education. And when he are of age, you want to make sure you have $ to take care of your medical bills.

BE, Chee Kui of dirty secret once said there is no easier way to make money from internet. It is a matter of which one and I agree with him .
wow ur traffic is impressive.. i started blog for pleasure, but then i couldnt help to hope for more traffics and have more readers.. is that normal?
