I am sure most of us who have been blogging for a while have to admit that (if not all the times but sometimes) it can be challenging to find a balance between our family commitment and blogging :). I am a full time home maker, a full time student , a full time investor and a part time blogging; I do from times to times finding it hard press to find a balance between all the duties that I have. However, it is not all impossible to do it.

These are 5 simple ways which I want to share with you.
1. Planning.
If you are blogging for leisure and not for money, this post might not be relevant to you. However, if you treat blogging as a hobby that might give you a viable part time income then you need to plan from the start of your blogging journey.
You need to know realistic figures on how much time you have a day to spend on blogging; and the goals that you want to achieve in blogging.
If you are a full time home maker or a full time worker outside of home or might be you are in a similar situation like me who is a full time home maker and a full time student, these are the things you might want to know.
How many hours per day I need to spend on these :
What are the best time in your day for blogging ?
2. How do I make the best use of my time ?
If you are hard press for time but would like to generate part time income from blogging; I strongly suggest you treat blogging in a structure way like you would treat your office work. Some of you might have the luxury of doing whatever you want to do in the office but not many of us have that kind of luxury. I would think most of us are given assignments with dead lines; so if you treat blogging like your work, you might want to structure your blogging time such as below : (For simplicity, let’s say you have 2 hours a day to blog.)
i) Spend 20 minutes doing research on materials you want to blog about.
Often times I get topics from sites such as digg and stumbleupon.
ii) Spend 40 minutes writing your posts.
iii) Spend 30 minutes writing your review posts
iv) Spend 20 minutes leaving meaningful comments on your fellow blogger friends’ blogs.
v) Spend 10 minutes going through your site’s traffic and replying your readers’ emails.
3. Evaluate your goals.
Spend at least an hour a week writing down your short term goals, medium team goals and long term goals for your blogging journey.
4. Re-evaluate your goals
Spend at least an hour a month re-evaluate your goals. Have you achieve what you have plan ? If so, what is the next step ? If not, why not, what went wrong , how do you rectify ?
5. Leave the computer and internet after the set hour.
Treat it like a job, leave your office when it is time to go home. One thing I personally find it useful is let your spouse be someone whom I want to give accountable to. You might to do like wise, ask him/her to track on the time you spend blogging or on the internet.
I hope this help.
