I was a bit disappointed with the local Publix store because they do not honor my internet printed buy 1 get 1 free Dove chocolates but they honor all the other coupons. The reason they gave me was that they would take up all coupons except the buy 1 get 1 coupon. I politely told the publix cashier that Publix is going to lose some customers who read my blog as I personally think Publix employee should be informed that the online printed coupons that I got are from the same company who gave out inserts on Sunday Gainesville Sun newspaper. I believe at the state of our present economy, in order for stores to stay competitive, they need to be more well informed in order to handle well informed customers.
If you continue to read my blog, you will find me from time to time giving you some personal experiences on these stores with my coupon experience. CVS and Walgreens are very well informed as far as coupons are concerned. Here is my tips for my Gainesville readers : generally 13th Street Walgreens have excellent managers, and CVS weekend and night staffs have better customers service than weekday and day shift staffs.
Tonight I have a very pleasant surprise with CVS at 13th street. I forget the name of the manager, a very pleasant good customer service manager (lady with glasses) who would even give me a rain check as the goods that are on sales were not there.
I was pleasantly surprise tonight at CVS with a $12 cash back after I gotten my drink.
It is amazing that I hardly step into WalMart ever since I started couponing and I used to think WM has the cheapest goods, but not anymore. Go and start CVSing and Walgreening, you will know what I mean and continue to follow my smart money shopping tips.
Have a blessed week and check back to read up more bargains.
