I paid $14 for all these from CVS.

Note : B1G1 = Buy 1 get 1 free (All figures to closet dollar or cent)

1. 2 packs of Wrig’s chewing gums (B1G1, there are 10 pk each pack) $3
2. 2 jugs of Welch’s grape jelly (B1G1) $ 2.5
3. 2 pack of Nature Valley oat meal bars $5 (2 coupons at $0.55 and $0.65, you can print at smartsource.com)
4. 1 bottle of Powerade drink $1 ($1 coupon in Today Gainesville Sun)
5. 2 packs of Schk xtreme sensitive disposable razors ($7.49 with 2nd one 50%) (Last week P&G had B1G1 coupon insert : that is $7.49 value + a $2 coupon)
6. 1 Neutrogena mascara $6 ($1 coupon from their site, here and CVS gives $4 store credit coupon for buying the mascara).
7. 1 Nightime sinus Tyleno $6.50 ($1 coupon from newspaper)
8. 2 bottles of Suave body wash $2 (I have a B1G1 coupon)
9. 2 pack of Colgate toothbrush $2.90 (B1G1 and I have a $0.75 and $1 coupons)
10. 1 Airwick automatic starter kick for $5 (machine + refill + 3 batteries).
(I have a $4 coupon printed from the site, here.) [ This is a really cool product, the machine dispense the spray every 60 second and the product last 60days, now my house smell really good :))]

Total cost of products without B1G1 deal and no coupons = $56

B1G1 deal = $8.50
Total coupons used (including a $5 and a $4 coupons which I printed on CVS site) = $29.50
There is a printed $4 store credit coupon which I can use next shopping

Net paid = $56 - $ 8.50 - $29.50 - $4 = $14

Paid ($14/$56)x100% ~ 25% of the price, hence I saved 75% !

If you ask me if I would have bought these branded fancy products like Neutrogena’s mascara or Schick razors or Airwick automatic dispense kit, I would honestly tell you no. But, if I get it for free or cheap, I would.

Razors :
The razors was $7.49 and the second one was 50% from CVS. Since I have B1G1 free and another $2 coupon, that made the 8 razors $1.74.

$7.49+$3.74 - $7.49-$2 = $1.74 for 2 pack (8razors) of branded razors, ya, I will go for it. Hubby was thrilled because we normally only buy cheap store brand,now he gets to use branded razors :).

Apparently, Walgreens have better deal, they are selling $5.99 and gives away $2 store credit.
So if you have the B1G1 and $2 coupons, you get a better deal $5.99×2 - $5.99-$2-$2-$3= $-1 (they are paying you back $1, most of the times, the store will ask you to get something that worth $1, so you get your razors free and you can pick up a pack of M&M chocolates for free :)). I got mine at CVS because I have 2 CVS store coupons that I wanted to use, a $5 and a $4 CVS coupons.

Mascara
The mascara was $5.99 and there is a $4 store credit coupon and $1 manufacture coupon and that make it 99cents, why not, right ? I do use mascara sometimes, not a whole lot but I can always give it away as a gift !

Airwick

It was fancy alright but with coupon, it is $4.99-$4= 99cents for such a fanciful and useful product. Now, hubby does not feel bad when he has nature call :).

My personal tip is look for coupons for B1G1 deals.
P&G gives out coupon newspaper inserts on 1st Sunday of the month. Keep them and they come handy.
