Just in case you did not read my post titled 1000-frugal-challenge-2009 about free Colgate, you are still not late. This week, you can stock up your tooth paste for the year .

This week at Walgreen :

1. Buy1Get1 free Colgate for $2.79 and you can print 2 $1.50 coupon from HERE. So you actually make $0.21 cents from this deal

2. And Aquafresh brand of tooth paste is $2.99. You can use Walgreen Easy Saver Book $2 coupon + $1 manufacturer coupon from Aquafresh web site HERE. You pick up the Walgreen Easy Saver Book from the racks that are situated at the entrance of their store. You make 1cents from this deal.

This is how Walgreen Saver Book look like for January month.

On page 17 of Walgreen Easy Saver Booklet, there is a $2 coupons on Aquafresh tooth paste.

At Aquafresh site, you can print out their $1 manufacturer coupon.

So if you buy 4 Colgate tooth pastes and 1 Aquafresh tooth paste, you get $0.42 overage from Colgate + 1cent from Aquafresh. You use the 43cents to buy a cadbury egg. (Note : Stores do not pay you back money if there is overage).

So you walk out of Walgreens with 5 tooth pastes and one Cadburry egg and you pay 8cents. Is that good or what ?

If you have read about my previous post titled about a-frugal-start-at-2009 and I suggested you to stock up the laundry detergents when they are so cheap , this week, you should be stocking up your tooth paste for this year. So for the next 12 months you do not need to worry about purchasing any tooth paste . [1 less household chores , yipee].
