In case you are new in couponing as means of saving money on your grocery bills, there are tons of free resources in the internet where you can print free coupons and also lots of sites where people already done matching of coupons and sales for you to take advantage.

In case you do not know, these are few sites which I strongly recommend , they are :

Hot coupon world, it is a free site where you can find coupon matching : the link is HERE
A Full Cup is also a free site where you can find coupon matching : the link is HERE
Slick Deal is also a free site where you can find coupon matching : the link is HERE.

Every week Southernsavers does coupon matching with sales on various stores such as Publix, CVS, Walgreens, etc, and you can find the link HERE.

And at BeCentsAble, the site has a feature title the Grocery Gathering homepage for all the best deals at other stores around the country, and you can find the link HERE.

Iheartcvs does very good job on deals at CVS, and you can find the link HERE.

Having a full time job and having to home school my gifted son 2 days a week, I decided that I am going to take a very different approach from some of my coupon buddies. I only want to get deals for the things that I will use and I might not necessary want to buy things that are free as I find that take a lot of times and I could not afford the time.

This week, I got some really good deals on eggs , tomato and tomato sauce. I spent $34.17 for all these.

I got 4packs of chicken leg quarters for $12.50. They are 21lb and 59cents a lb. I think these meat at least would last me 3 weeks or so.

The deals that I want to brag about are :
Egg beaters, Rotel Dice Tomatoes and Muir Organic tomato sauce.

The egg beater is $2 each.
There is a $1 for 2 coupon in Publix Advantage Booklet (or fryer) which you can find the booklet at the rack where they put the weekly ads.
Also there is a $1 coupon which you can print from the internet ; and you can find the link HERE.
So, you pay 50cents for each pack of egg beater. It is a good deal.

The Rotel Dice Tomatoes is buy 1 get 1 free for $1.29
And in the same booklet that I mention before there is a $1 coupon when you buy 2 cans of the tomatoes.
So after coupon you are paying 15cents for each can of dice tomatoes. I think it is an excellent deal.

The other even better deal is Muir Organic tomato sauce.
It is 89cents and there is a $1 coupon which you can print from the internet ; and you can find the link HERE.
That makes the tomato sauce not only free but you are making 11cents out of each can. Is that too good to be true ?

Just in case, you do not know how does the Publix Advantage fryer look like, this is how it looks like on page 1.

The egg beater and the Rotel Dice tomatoes are both on page 4 of the booklet or fryer.

The other deals which are pretty good are Smart milk which is 2 for $6 and there are $1 coupon that is on the blinker machine next to the milk, so that makes it $2 1/2 gallon, nothing to shout about but I thought a treat for the little one for the chocolate milk.

I saw from my coupon buddy Tracey’s blog about the turkey bacon, it is $2.50 and there is a 75cents coupon on the blinker, so I bought one.

The bread is 89cent each.

I bought carrot, mushroom and onion for $3 (I used the $2 off $5 produce coupon from food lion).

I have run out of Capri sun juice so I bought 1 which is 3 for $6

I also bought a pack of publix honey ham which is $2.50

This month, I will be cooking a lot of omelets , tomato sauce chicken. In fact, today I cook the remaining 1 pack of chicken quarters that I bought 2 week ago with Ragu sauce in slow cooker because I have to run errand today. I think there were 5 chicken leg quarters in the pack. So I dumped in the chicken and Ragu sauce into the slow cooker for 6 hours. By the time I finished all my errands, the chicken meat were all very tender and easily broke apart. Then only I put in the mushroom that I got today (it is alright to eat raw mushroom and once you put the mushroom into the hot sauce, it is cook anyway :) ) and a can of green beans, and they sure taste finger licking good :) .

Running total = $123.76, Total left to spend = $910.41 – $34.17 = $876.24
