These are some money making deals @ CVS this week. [ Note : ECB = Extra cash back ]

1. This week , Colgate is $2.99 and you get back $2.99 ECB. Limit 2 per household.

And if you get this fryer from Publix store, there is a $1 Colgate coupon at the back cover of the fryer,so you make $2 out of 2 Colgates this week.

This is how the front and back cover of the fryer looks like.

2. This week there is a buy 2 Neutrogena products get $10 ECB; and many have found out that these Neutrogena soap bar which cost $.299 each also generate $10 ECB when you buy 2.

Make sure you only buy the transparent soap, other kind does not work.

And to make the deal even sweeter, scan your CVS cards through the scanning machine and you will get $2 coupon for Neutrogena Man’ product, and since the soap can be used by man, you can used that towards the deal.

So you are making $6 out of 2 soaps.

3. Stay free sanitary pads is $3.79 and get back $2 ECB and if you scan your CVS cards through the scanning machine and you will get $2 coupon on Stay Free sanitary pads, so you are making 21cents.

This is my suggestion on how you do these deals :

* Scan your CVS card to get the 2 $2 coupons from their scanner machine

1. Buy 1 Colgate

Out of pocket = $2.99 – $1 coupon (publix fryer) = $1.99; Get back $2.99 ECB

2. Buy the next Colgate + the Sanitary pads

Out of Pocket = $2.99 + $3.79 – $1 coupon (publix fryer) – $2 coupon (CVS coupon from Scanner) – $2.99 (ECB from deal 1) = 70cents, Get back $2 ECB (sanitary pad) + $2.99 ECB (Colgate)

3. Buy 2 transparent soaps

Out of pocket = $2.99 + $2.99 – $2 coupon (CVS coupon from Scanner) – $2.99 ECB (Colgate from deal 2) = 99cents; Get back $10.

Total Out of pocket = $1.99 + 79cents + 99cent = $3.99

Total ECB = $2 + $10 = $12

Net profit = $8

If you continue to do these kind of deals, you are getting free from stores plus making money out of your shopping !

Couponing can be tedious , time consuming and sometimes stressful but if you look at the amount of money that you can saved or earned, it can be rewarding.

My personal experience about this coupon hobby is that find a buddy whom you can share this journey together. I have to admit sometimes it can be very tiring to consistently keeping the budget having a full time job outside of home, part home school a child , and all the other responsibilities that entail being a wife and a mom. However, having a coupon buddy make the journey much bearable and fun ! We email each other or meet up to share some of the deals we might have missed or discussed more efficient way of getting coupons on our savings in a regular basic. And I know our communication help one another to become more efficient in our coupon quests.

So I want to thank my coupon buddy for being there with me when sometimes I feel like giving up ! Thanks Tracey !
