This week from Thursday to next Wednesday, Publix’s pork chop is $1.69/lb, so you are going to get your pork chop at 50cents a lb ? If Publix really take Albie’s coupon, we are getting real cheap meat this week.

Let’ us try this week to see if they take it or not. Let me know how you do it. I like to hear your input.

I inquired at the Hunter’s Crossing Publix, and a lady at the office told me that they do not accept Albertson’s coupons for meat. But in the event they did, they would only do it for the first pound, the rest would be at their regular price. She says Publix meat is of a higher grade. They would take the $5 coupon, or other coupons for a similar brand or product. They do not take Walgreen’s or CVS’. She also said that this is a general Publix policy. ????

Each Publix store seems to operate on their wind and fancy, their own rules, even the cashier seems to have their own rules and regulation.
Hunter Crossing is the worst. Very coupon unfriendly. Spring Hill across Santa Fe Community College is good and Millhopper until recently they started to change their rule according to their wind and fancy.
Now, the best is 13th St.
Every store define their own competitor store. At one time, Millhopper cashier told them she does not want to take Save A Lot cos at the $5 off $20, there is a clause say member communication club, she said they does not have communication with Save-A-Lot, then I ask for her supervisor. He came around and said we only take competitors that are near by like CVS and Walgreens but there is no Save-A-Lot in town. I looked at him and said yes, there is, there is one right at 13th Street. He said ooh.

Sometimes these employees do not know much about their own rules and policy.

Recently, my coupon gf went to 13th Street Publix and the cashier only let her use 1 coupon for buy 1 get 1 free, she said since the one is free, she can use coupon but she would let her go through this time. My girlfriend, No, I do not want to just go through this time because it is Publix policy that you can use 2 coupons with buy 1 get 1 free. And she asked to see the manager. The manager came by and said yes, it is the policy to be able to use 2 coupons for buy 1 get 1 free. Then before my gf went off, she saw a man in the suit and the manager and and a few cashiers gathered and they seemed to have a big discussion. So my girlfriend went by and said ’so did you guy change policy again’. The man with suit said “No Madam, you are right, I am educating my employees’

My girlfriend felt so good cos she does not just want the cashier to let her pass this time, she wanted them to know that it is Publix rule and regulation that you can use 2 coupons for buy 1 get 1 free deal

And I knew 2 very good customer rep in 13th Street. One is a Caucasian lady by the name of Mary and the other is an Asian man by the name of Max.

One morning I used Walgreen’s $3 off $20 coupon, the cashier went to ask her if they accept Walgreen coupon , she said yes, they are our competitor and there is no problem to use CVS ECB, Walgreens RR at 13th Street.

Max even explain to me that if there is a buy 1 get 1 free deal and I have manufacturer coupon and competitor coupons, this is how it works.

Eg. if there is a Target or Food lion coupon on a product and there is also a manufacturer coupon, you can use
2 Target coupon and 2 Manufacturer coupon

However, you must always bear in mind that
the total number of coupons used cannot exceed the number of products that you bought
So sometimes you have to buy a cheap product (which we extreme coupon call filler) and most of the times I will use lemon, cucumber, instant noddles that do not have coupons, anyway I still use this good and most of the time, they are less than 50cents an item.

I hope this is clear to you and do not hesitate to ask me. The more you do, the better you will be.

Jamy, you are so good at finding the best price. How do you get your coupons from Aldie’s, Save A Lot and Albertsons? I have gone to their websites but have not seen a coupon section.

    Thanks!
