I located the coupon in my flyer for Walgreens and it says limit of 3 for the tomato sauce. Do I have to cut out more of these coupons in order to use the $5 off coupon? Are you sure that the sauce will ring up to the full price and not the sale price?
LeAnn,
Thanks for dropping by. It all depends on your local Walgreens. I got 15 of them. No, you only need one coupon. The machine will auto calculate the amount based on the number of cans you bought
For eg if you buy 10 cans,
It is 99cent per can and the cash register will print
$0.99 10 time and at the end it will take out the total discount on that 10 cans , which is 10( $0.99-$0.39) = $6
Net total = $9.99 =$6=$3.99
In fact, it is 99cents per can but 5 for $4 so you have to buy at least 13cans to get total of >$10
8cans $8
3cans $2.97
Total = $10.97
But in fact you net pay 5.07
Yes, I am sure the register will ring up the regular price but the net total is the sale price.
I yet to find out if they will give us the rebate, we shall see. Worst scenario, bring back and get refund if they do not pay the rebate, so don’t use the tomatoes sauce first.
People have done it in the past so I believe it will work but this coupon thing is a lot of try and learn.

Well I just got back from Walgreens and I did purchase all the remaining cans which was 11. Much to my surprise they didn’t ring up as 99 cents per can but 5 for $4 as you said in your response. I wish I would have read your response before heading out so I would have known it would be that way. So now I am wondering if I can go back to the store and find another conagra product, since there is no more sauce, to make up it add up to the $10 or does it have to all be on one receipt? In the process of all of this you did turn me on to the Walgreens easy saver catalog and noticed there are 3 free products….Axe shampoo, memory formula and some aspirins with the catch being that I have to do the rebate. This whole coupon thing is new to me and sure seems to be a lot of work but going to at least give it a shot. Thanx for your help!!!!!
LeAnn,
First let me encourage you not to get frustrated with the process. I know exactly where you are coming from.
When I first stated (without much help or guide), some of the stores cashiers were horrible to couponers. They are what we term Nazi cashier.
However, I am glad that I perverse. I think it is not so much of the money I have saved, it is more like I have acquired a skill which I can just walk into a store and get practically 90%+ off the retail price every time I walk out of the store. Don’t you just love that feeling ? Now I no longer walk into a store without my coupon bag
Yes, you can get any Congra products (preferbly those that are cheap and have coupons). No, you can use 2-3 coupons.
Did you add your email in my email alert list. If you have not, I would highly recommend you do cos I do give special alerts to my subscribers.
