Frugal meal Series : Veveeta pasta with beans and crumbles (2)
I decided to give my Velveeta pasta an added flavor today. A while back I got lots of BirdEye’s steam vegetables when they were 50% sales at Publix ; and with coupons, they came up to be like 19cents a pack. I have like 50packs of these cheap steam vegetables in my box freezer. So today I decide to share the frugal healthy meal that I made for my family with you.
Green Beans…
Left over MorningStar crumbles from last night…
Here comes the steamy hot noddles …
Add on the beans and meat…
Add on the creamy cheese sauce that are in the packets …
Give it a good stir and the result…
This meal cost $1.20
1. Morning star crumbles was 50cents profit
2. Birdeyes vegetables was ~ 20cents
3. Velveeta was 50cents each and I used 2 packs. Total $1
