Hello,
I read the article in the Gainesville Sun. It was very informational. I’m very glad there is now this “family” of coupon clippers and clickers out there!
I would like to say however, that out of all of the coupon/informational web sites that were cited in the Sun story, yours is the hardest to remember because it doesn’t have a catchy name or heading. Therefore, I would recommend making your URL a name that is easier to remember.
Gina,
Thank you so very much to stop by and leave a comment.
I started my blog not knowing coupon and use seaykopitiam with a history behind it.
Seay is my husband family name.
In Malay language (I was born in Malaysia but has been naturalized many years back), Kopi means Coffee, Tiam means shop
SeayKopitiam means Seay coffee shop.
In the oldern days, coffee shops are places men hang around, have a cup of coffee and gossips, sometimes trades are barter And in the internet age, gossips, business are done on the internet. So, this site is like an e-cafe
I have an explanation of why I name this site : seaykopitiam.com
If you notice many great internet business have unconvention kind of names , to name a few : Yahoo, Google, Facebook, twitter and many others. Might be one day when seaykopitiam become a household name, it would not be so strange anymore
There are many times I wanted to give up seaykopitiam and buy an URL such as frugaltorich , etc… but I decided to perserve. I am sure if I continue to provide great content and services to my readers, they will remember :).
I have been couponing off and on for a few months now. Do you give classes or lessons or maybe have some tips? I have a two year old and a business, and I am strapped for time. Any advice would be great.
Dear Jamy,
Loved the Video and Article! Now I feel like I “really” know you! Thank you for all the great advice you give everyone for savings. You are a Blessing!!
P.S. I enjoyed sharing my “free” Sara Lee pies with my family this weekend. I’m still so thankful I won the contest!
