Yes, some people will do it like you say.

The reason I do it is if I do my next transaction I would not take into account the $3 or $10 RR that I have gotten from this transaction.

For eg. this week I will buy the listerine products 2 for $8 and get back $3 RR

I have 2 $1.50 coupon and I will use the $3 RR from All Detergent but I would not count it in.

This is what I would do in the Listerin transaction :

$8 - $3 (manufacturer coupon) - $3 ($3 off $10 from New Walgreen coupons) = $2

So even I used the old RR that I have gotten but my calculation does not include the Old $RR. So I only account RR once

		<description>I&#039;ve noticed you count the RR&#039;s on that transaction itself. I usually prefer to count what is out of pocket and then count the RR (or CVS ECB since I don&#039;t have Walgreens in town) into the next transaction.</description>
