$5 off $25 CVS
I am sorry that I have not updated for a while. Too many overtimes @ work.
I have crafted out this scenario this week for you. There is not much good deals on food @ Publix this week but I have crafted out a scenario for stock pile on cleaning stuffs and others with this $5 off $25 CVS coupon.

You can print out this $5 off $25 CVS coupon HERE
1. Huggies Natural Care Baby Wipes, Soft Pack, 40-ct pkg, BOGO $1.99
50cents food lion coupon HERE
2. Glass Plus Glass & Multi-Surface Cleaner, 32-oz bot., BOGO $2.49
$1 coupon HERE
3. Carefree Pantyliner 16 to 60-ct pkg, or Stayfree maxi Pads, 24-ct pkg, or Stayfree Ultra Thin Pads, 16 to 22-ct $1.99
$1 coupon HERE
4. Suave Lotion, Assorted varieties, 18-oz bot $2.39
$1 coupon HERE
This is my scenario
1. 10 of the Glass Plus Glass & Multi-Surface Cleaner (this is a cheap price to stock pile, use a few computers to print the coupons, u can go to the library and print 10 of them)
Since it is buy 1 get 1 free, you pay 5 of them, which is $12.45
2. 4 Carefree Pantyliner (get price to stock pile) $7.96
3. Suave Lotion $2.39
4. Huggies Natural Care Baby Wipes $1.99
Total before Coupon = $24.78
Since it is less than $25, I would pick up 2 pack of instant noddles at 17cents each.
So total = $25.12 (Your total must be over $25 to use the $5 off $25 CVS coupon)
Coupon Used :
10 of the $1 coupon from cleaner $10
4 of the $1 coupon from pantyliner = $4
1 $1 coupon from Lotion = $1
2 50cents Foodlion coupon = $1
1 $5 off $25 CVS coupon = $5
Total Coupon used = $21
Total out of pocket = $4.12
For $4.12, you have stockpiled 10 Glass Plus Glass & Multi-Surface Cleaner, 4 Carefree Pantyliner (don’t tell me u do not use it, donate to me, LOL), 1 Suave Lotion and 2 boxes of Huggies Natural Care Baby Wipe (this is good to leave it in the car so you do not have to buy tissue papers
)
The only food I might get is this :
Food
Healthy Choice Cafe Steamers Entrees, or Healthy Choice Meals, 9.5 to 12.3-oz box 4/$10
50cents Target Coupon HERE
$1/2 coupon HERE
Buy 4 for $10
Use 4 50cents Target coupon
Use 2 $1 coupon
$10 – $2-$2 = $6 for 4 of those meals (I used that whenever I have to run errand and do not have time to cook)

I have a question unrelated to the above. If there is an item that is BOGO, can you use two coupons for it? Example is Publix has the Quattro razors BOGO for 10.99, well I have two coupons (one for womens, one for men’s) that are $4 off one. If they would allow this then I could get two for 2.99. Just not sure if they would allow this though?
Thanks
Lisa,
You can use man coupon for man razor and woman coupon for woman razor
For buy 1 get 1 free deal, u can use 2 coupons.
that’s great, so I can get 2 razors normally 10.99 each for 2.99 for both, a great savings of 18.99. Best part is I have two sets of each.
I could also use this towards the $5 off 25 which would make an even sweeter deal for me.
You are the BEST !!!
THANK YOU !!!
Lisa,
Yes, this is exactly what it is about extreme coupon, you pay close to nothing for all products
Razor is BOGO for $10.99
Glass Plus Glass & Multi-Surface Cleaner, 32-oz bot., BOGO $2.49
Total before coupon = $26.46
Total coupons used :
4 of the $4 Razor coupons = $16
2 of the $1 Multi-Surface Cleaner coupons = $2
2 of the 50cents wipes coupons = $1
1 $5 off $15 CVS = $5
Total coupons used = 24
Out of pocket = $1.46
Great deals, isn’t it ?
Lisa, you should definitely come to my coupon training class which I intend to set up soon. I intend to give away a box freezer for my attendees
Hi Lisa and Jamy!
Lisa, are the coupons for the razors something that is available online? I would love to be able to get a deal on razors!
Nicole,
No, they are coupons from Sunday Newspaper insert.
Send me an email @ jamytan@gmail.com
I will send you 2 of those coupons in regular mail.
Jamy
Thanks for sharing that deal with the razors Lisa and as always a BIG thank you to Jamy!!
Hi I noticed when you count up the Dollar amount to use the $5 off $25 coupon you are only using half of the bogo price. For instance, if you look at your Publix receipt it rings up 10 Glass plus cleaners then subtracts 5 of them like as if you used a coupon. So as far as the computer is concerned you rang up $24.90 in glass cleaner alone!! This is the way I have been using these big coupons and the Newberry Square Publix and the Hail Plantation Publix in Gainesville have accepted them that way.
Kevin,
Thanks for dropping by.
So in that way, I can buy less to take advantage of the $5 off $25 ?
Am I right to say that ?
Hi I sent this in email but not sure if it will end up listed here so here it is again.
Yes exactly. You just add up all the prices as if they are not BOGO. For instance the 10 glass plus would make $24.49 + the Panty liner at $1.99 = 26.98 TOTAL PURCHASE before tax. Then start subtracting. 10 cleaners /2= $12.25 + Liners $1.99= 14.23 Then take you 10 $1 coupons for the cleaner and the $1 coupon for the Liners = $14.23-$11=$3.23 – $5 on $25= -$1.77. So you’d have to throw in one of the other purchases or change the panty liners out for something else to get the final result above $0. I have even borken a large (over $50.00) purchase up in two different baskets sent my wife through one line and I went through another to use 2 coupons without having to come back twice. (To be honest that was my plan but my wife and I actually went through the same line right behind each other and that particular cashier didn’t even question it.)
By the way I never used to use coupons but your article in the paper and this web site taught me how. It was just one of those things that I couldn’t understand before how people obtained such great deals but I am beginning to understand now. You have already saved my family a large amount of cash on food.
Thanks, God Bless and happy couponing
Kevin
At my CVS (Alachua) they have one of the Colgate Total toothpaste on clearance for $1.10 (normally $4.39) and then I had about 4 $0.75 cents off one coupons, so I ended up paying $0.35 each so 4 cost me $1.40.
Just thought I’d share.
Hi Jamy and everyone! I tried to use the CVS coupon at the 40 East Publix in Ocala–they would not take it. The cashier said she had never seen anything like it and the manager said it was only for use in the pharmacy…I tried to explain the coupon to them, but they still would not honor it…they gave me the deer in the headlights look…
They also would not honor a coupon that I had for Purina pet food because the picture of the dog food was too faded–my color printer ink is out–even though the details of the coupon are written in black ink. Does anyone else ever have this problem?
I haven’t had that problem. My printer is also running low on color ink and many of my images were bad also. Go into your printer settings and see if you can set it to print grayscale. It will then print out a black and white picture. Sounds like you just ran into some management that doesn’t like taking competitors coupons. I used to work for Publix and even though Corporate will set a certain rule you always have managers that do what they can to get around the ones they don’t agree with.
Update on my last post: I reprinted the coupons(dog food and CVS) after blasting my color ink cartridge with a blowdryer–it works!! They accepted both coupons at the customer service counter and gave me cash. So, I guess it does pay to be persistent!
Thanks for the deal, Jamy!
Nicole,
I send u 2 coupons yesterday,
Did you receive yet ?
