It has been 3 months since I have not tally my receipts. I had 10days off last 2 weeks, besides cleaning the house, going to Ameila Island for the weekend, I decided to sit down and bring out all the receipts and tally them. And I am thankful to one of my readers, Lisa, who has agreed to take up the challenge for me to help me tally my receipts from September to December for my Frugal Challenge 2009.

These are the 3 months.

June
Publix $73.40
Walgreens $34.96
CVS $5.85
Total $114.21

Yard Sales = $72 ( I sold most of the stuffs I got for free in my neighbor yard sales)

Total spend on June = $42.21
( Running total from May = $323.53 as reported in Frugal Challenge 2008 page )
Running total = $323.53 + $42.21 = $365.74
Total left to spend = $1000-$365.74 = $634.26

July
Publix $49.27
Walgreens $40.09
CVS $5.03
Total $94.39

Yard Sales = $43

Total spend on July = $51.39

Running total = $365.74 + $51.39 = $417.13
Total left to spend = $1000 – $417.13 = $582.87

August
Publix $61.25
CVS = $2.44
Total = $63.69

Yard Sales = $81

Total spend on August= -$17.31

Running total = $417.13 – $17.31 = $399.82
Total left to spend = $1000 – $399.82 = $600.18
