And of course, I have another question for you about stacking coupons. If I have a foodlion coupon for X amount off their store brand of diapers, can I use that towards publix diapers and stack it with a coupon that I have from publix for their store brand diapers?

Holly,
Sure.
U can use a Foodlion + Publix + Manufacturer coupon on stacking.
However, this is not a written on stone kind of rules, different Publix does it differently, sometimes can be frustrating but they should.

I really appreciate everything you do. I’ve been into extreme couponing for a long time since I have 7 children and money is always tight…but you have taught me things that I was not aware of and I really appreciate you sharing them with all of us. I never thought about reselling the items at yard sales that I got for free and man it makes sense you are amazing. Thanks so much for the eye opener!!! You rock keep doing what you are doing.

Yes, Shelly, I have a very nice neighbor who let me put my stuffs at her yard sales. I sell them very cheap and they gone quick as well.

Some people might think I am very selfish and that I should give away these goods to shelter , homeless etc…

I was born in a 3rd world though I spent most of my adult life in Australia. To me, America has a lot of resources and none of us are near poverty ( the poverty I knew of)

I do not believe in giving fish to a person but I believe in teaching that person to fish, and when they learn the skill, they will never be without fish .

Don’t be surprise that I do not respond on suggestions that I should give my free stuffs away

Actually there is nothing amazing about this : “reselling the items at yard sales that I got for free and man it makes sense you are amazing”

The amazing thing that I find in this country is seeing people who park their cars in the drive way where their garage are full of junks stuffs they accumulate. Amazing thing is the amount of rental storage space in our country where most of us have a big home that is inhabited by less than 10 people under the same roof

When I was a young woman, I used to go to street protest with my Australian classmates. We boycott tropical woods because we protest that 3rd world countries cut down the trees without replanting them. They are not environmental friendly. Americans and most of the Western nations boycot the 3rd world being not environmental friendly whereas we in the Western nations used up 1/2 of the world resources :). If you see the paper plates, cups that piled up in McDonald next to Smithsonian you probably would laughed at my naiveness going on street protest

So, instead of building a storage space to keep all the free items I got, I sold them very cheap for people who could not afford the retail price from Publix

And I can always used the $ that I have earned from yard sales to get free stuffs again

Always remember once you do this extreme coupon for a while, you know they always recycle their ads :). Never worry about not getting free stuffs :).

I just wanted to say thanks for this post, we all need to consider the things you shared. We tend to be a nation of horders.

Also, I was an exchange student to Australia…so I have seen some of those marches. Thanks for sharing your time “free” with everyone!!

Hi Jamy, Thank you for your card you gave me tonight at Publix. I was the tall smiling guy. I was behind you in line a couple of weeks ago and could not believe that you had so much stuff and only had to pay a few cents! I was so impressed. I asked the cashier “How did she do that?” Ever since then I have been talking to my wife about trying to save with coupons. Thank you for the information you provide here. I am excited to get started with extreme couponing.
