Great Deals On Porks.
This post was written on Aug 5th 2009 but I edited the date to Sept 3th 2009 because we can do this deal again this week at Publix from 9/3/09 to 9/9/09
There are a number of great deals this coming week on Publix but one that I see most great for my family is cheap pork as my family member is getting a bit tire with 60packs of Starkist Seasation Fish from Terrayaki to Meditrerranean. So when I see this deal, I could not help myself by posting it so you also have a share in this extreme couponing.
This coming week @ Publix (8/6-8/12)
Kingsford charcoal (13.5lb) is $7.99.
There is a few coupons related to this charcoal.
1. $6 off pork when you purchase 13.5lb of kingsford charcoal and another item (K.C masterpiece B.B.sauce is included). This is the $6 coupon : HERE
2. Free K.C Masterpiece B.B.Q sauce when you purchase a 13.5lb kingsford charcoal : HERE
3. $2 off Kingsford Charcoal manufacturer coupon : HERE
4. $3 off Kingsford Charcoal Food Lion Coupon : foodlionkingsfordcharcoal
This is the scenario I have worked out :
1. 1 pack of 13.5lb charcoal for $7.99
2. $6 worth of pork
3. 1 K.C Masterpiece B.B.Q sauce $2.99
4. 1 lemon 20cents
Total = $17.23
Coupons use towards these deal
1. $6 off pork = $6
2. $2 off charcoal = $2
3. $3 off FoodLion = $3
4. Free K.C Masterpiece when you purchase 13.5lb of charcoal = $2.99
Total = $13.99
Net pay = $3.24
$6 worth of pork , 13.5lbs Kingsford charcoal, 1 B.B.Q sauce, and 1 lemon for $2.24.
I think it is a great deal.
You can find these deals posted on Iheartpublix and southernsavers sites.

Wonderful I just saved 118.00 and spent 30.00!
Every thing works good and the Tower Rd Publix does take Walgreens coupons. Thank you so much for this site.
Eve
Eve,
13th street 13.5lb charcoal is $10.99, do you find the $7.99 in Tower Rd Publix ?
Yes I paid 7.99 and they had a 1.00 of coupon on the charcoal so it is 6.99.
Thanks Eve, u are great !
Where is Tower Road Publix ?
I also can not print the pork or food lion coupons. Could you please send a link? thanks, Jamie
Just wanted to let you know that Publix @ 39th & 13th will not take the $6 on the other white meat coupon and they will not take CVS coupons.
Jennifer,
I did the pork deal last night. However, the charcoal was $10.99.
Sometimes it all depend on cashier, ask to talk to Max or Mary, they will honor it.
These cashiers sometimes is a headache, many of them do not even know their own policy.
I did the pork deal twice, one last night, one this morning. It is a pity that the charcoal is $10.99 instead of the $7.99 at Tower road. I am going to towel road tomorrow.
At 13/39, there is a cashier (Caucasian lady, her name is Lisa), she is the best cos she knew Publix coupon policy very well. I think she has worked there for a few years, some of the young college kids are just not well verse with Publix coupon policy.
Hope this help.
This is the food lion coupon

It was the manager @ the 13/29 who said that he would not take it.
Did you ask him why ?
a. $6 off meat and KC Masterpiece ?
b. CVS ? They don’t consider CVS or Walgreen as competitor ? (who do they consider as competitor) ?
Do you know the name of the manager.
I can call corporate to ask
The $6 is a manufacturer coupon , so Publix will get reimburse for it.
The competitor part is iffy, it all depends on how they define competitors.
He said that they would not honor the coupon because the store was getting to many photocopies (invalid coupons). Also, the manager said that they no longer accept CVS coupons. I did not get his name but he was a manager and I was there around 7:30 p.m. checking out.
That is the problem when people are dishonest and we all suffer.
One of my neighbors asked me if she can scan and copy her coupons, I said NO. She said but the cashier took the coupons she scan and copied. I told her I have been telling my readers that if they want coupons to be long haul, they have to look at it long term. Legit , legit, legit is I keep telling people.
Because of a few bad apples, we all suffer.
I think Publix has experienced so many fraudulent couponers that many Publix has changed their policies, it is ashame.
One of the thing I personally find is that if you print your coupon with color, most of the time they will accept cos it is expensive to copy with color ink and if you print with color ink, they knew most likely you don’t go out of the way to print color ? Do you think so ?
I am sorry that you go through all this trouble and Publix has to turn you down.
Do you live close by Towel road ? Read the reader Eve comment, she seems to be able to use all the coupons I have listed. Do you want to give it a try at Towel road ?
For a long time, Millopper Publix was very friendly to coupons but I think there are so many dishonest couponers that now they no longer take CVS/Walgreens coupons.
I started 13th/39th after Millhopper changed their rules. This morning I used my CVS, last night I used my Walgreens coupons.
Hope u do not give up using coupons, at times it can be frustrating, I have encountered a few instances that they refuse my coupons.
I look at it this way, I always bring in CVS/Walgreens, if they take, it is a blessing, if not I will try next time.
It is frustrating that even in the same store, different shift manager has their own rules.
I went to Pulix on Thursday night around 5pm and then 7pm again, both times they took my Wag and CVS coupons ( I took my family for dinner at the restaurant next to Publix, before dinner I went and after dinner I went to Publix).
This noon, I went there to buy Pepsi. I intend to do the pork deal at Towel road tomorrow.
I went to the 13th st. Publix Friday afternoon. I try to always use Lisa as my cashier, she is very good and always does her best to use all my coupons. She has never turned me down with any other coupon, but she would not take the $6 off pork coupon. She told me that it was invalid. I trust what she says, I told her that was fine and I would see next week.
Linda,
. So, I hope u guys bear with me
Yes, Lisa is good.
I am surprise that she does not take the $6 off.
I had done Pork deal with an African American young girl (forget her name) but she forget to scan the Food Lion coupon, I did not realize after I come out of Publix but then I decided oh well, I am too lazy and tired to go in and ask for the $3. If I am not that tired that night, I would have gone in and asked for that $3, they will do it.
Sometimes with me working full time, and also updating this blog plus doing the deal myself (I won’t post the deal if I myself do not do it,I feel it is my responsibility to do it if I want to post the deal), it can be tiring.
A reader send me a request ask me how often I update my blog as all my deals are expired, I replied that I update as often as I can , LOL
Hi Jamy! I did the pork deal last night at the 40 East Publix in Ocala. They took all the coupons but said that they will no longer accept any Food Lion coupons after yesterday. The deal worked out great except that when using the Campbells soup coupons I bought the cream soups as the coupons stated but realized after I got home that the cream soups(Cr. of Mushroom, etc.) were 3 for $5, not $1 a can. I ended up spending something like $4.70 instead of $3.24 but it was still a great deal. Thanks!
Thank you so much! tHIS IS was the best:) If u ever need help, let me know Jamy!!
Thank you… went to Tower Rd. tonight and the cashier said he had seen several people using this… wanted to know where I came up with it. lol THANKS!!
Any good deals at Publix this week.
Eve,
I just posted. Did the post because of your request. i was so busy this week, sorry.
[...] you need to print the coupons related to this cheap pork deal, go HERE. Julie send me a link to the latest Food Lion coupon [...]
Tower Road & 13Th is the same Publix?
Mayra,
Tower Road Publix (my favorite!) is at the end of Tower Road and Archer Road. I think the 13th street Publix is the one that is on 13th st on the left. I know that the one on Tower is worth the trip because they accept ALL coupons and the cashiers are all so friendly and patient with all of my coupons. I travel to this publix even though two others are closer to me.
Thanks Holly!
HUNTERS CROSSING PUBLIX EXPERIENCE: I was advised they will not accept internet coupons for FREE items! Just keep that in mind if you get a coupon cop:)
