I thought that about two weeks ago there were some blinkies that I picked up for bagel bites/tgif snacks, but of course I am at work and did not bring my coupon bag with me!! I will look tonight when I get home and see what they were.
Yes, there is $1 blinker sometimes back for the TGIF snacks. U can use that to make it free.
I will have to see how many I have, I know I grabbed alot of the TGIF dinner blinkies, not sure how many of the snacks. If I have enough I may be able to share.

The blinkie for TGIF dinner is for $2/1. The blinkie said ” on any one(1) Fridays Value size or large size frozen snack or TGI Fridays compplete skillet meals”. My question is, Can I used that coupon with the small snack box?

There is one for the snacks and also there is one for the meal.
The snacks coupons run out very fast cos it was $1, not 50cents.
I was wondering the same thing about the TGIF snacks. The blinkie coupon is for the value/large size and the sale is for up to 11oz. I’m going to check tomorrow morning when I go to do this past weeks deals.

I do not have the blinkies for the snacks size. Nichole send me the ones with meals one.
But, there are reported that there is also a blinkies for snack size.
The TGIF skillet meal blinkies that I have also say value or large size snack product which also correspond to the Toss 4 Cash coupons that are $2 off the large/value size snacks. If that size are not BOGO this week I bet they will be soon and we’ll get a good deal!

Trying it tomorrow, Jamy! I was out of state for a week and itching to come back for it. We ate the last of our pork from the last pork deal last night and I’m ready for more! I have a bunch of other coupons that I’m gonna use this week. I couldn’t get the Kraft dressing coupons to print out for me, but I’m looking forward to the other deals I’m gonna try–although I’m probably not saving as much as usual this week.

I did a lot of pork this week, my freezer is so full now.
Lisa told me about Hitchcock has coupons for the Kraft dressing and I did get some of them.
They are $1/2
So with 2 x $1.50 + $1, I am making $1 for every 2 of the salad dressing, I used that to buy some produce.
It has been a great week.
I also bought 20 Relvon beauty kit from ebay, I got 20 of the $1 coupons for $1 with shipping, Combine that with green advantage, I made like $1.50 for each of the nail clipper, that is a great deal I think.
Don’t ask me what I do with the 20 nail clippers

Oh, I wish I had a good competitor grocery store down here in Ocala like Food Lion and Hitchcocks! I’m looking forward Thursday for the new Publix deals. Looks like some good stuff next week! By the way, I was in Michigan last week and told all of my family about all the great deals that can be done with coupons and BOGO. I tried to get some of the pork coupons for them so they could do the pork deal up there, but the coupons wouldn’t print out at the computer I was at. But, I do think I made some converts of my family–hopefully they will start saving money soon! Thanks for everything, Jamy. You really have given me a new perspective and I’m learning to “fish” as you say!

Tonight I got 3 pork deals and I paid $4 for it. I only realized the cashiers did not key in any of my Salad dressing, sigh, but never mind, I already got a great deals.
This is what I got
1. 3packs of the charcoal -> $24
2. ~ $20 of pork -> $20
3. 3 KC Masterpiece Miranade -> $9
4. 4 Kraft Salad dressing -> $6
Total before coupon ~ $59
Coupon used
1. 3 $6 off pork = $18
2. 4 $1.50 Kraft + 2 $1 Hitchcock dressing =$8
3. 3 $3 Foodlion charcoal = $9
4. 3 $2 Manufacturer Q for charcoal = $6
5. 3 $1 coupons on charcoal = $3
6. 3 free KC Masterpiece = $9
7. $5 off $20 Foodlion meat coupon = $5
8. $5 off $25 CVS = $5
Total coupons = $63
They should give me back $4 but I was charged $4. I was talking to the customer service guy, did not check my receipt till I am home.
That is why I do not like to do big deal but then again, I was thinking I am getting a good deal. So, I do not want to be petty
But, this pork deal is really great.
I think so far, I have done 9 of these pork deals.
I love deal like this as I do not quite like frozen box kind of meat. This is more fresh.
Also if you ever want to buy the KC Masterpiece Miranda, the honey Teriyaki is really good.

I think this month I have done about 10 pork deals. My freezer is stuffed! And I have shared with my family. Last night I got another 4 pork deals (included in my previous count):
4 charcoal, 4 BBQ sauce, $24 pork, 6 kraft dressings, 2 bogo cheese, 4 packs of ramen, a big bottle of Nyquil, and a pack of crest white strips after all the coupons I paid $15.59! And I know that’s a big deal, BUT I noticed the guy only scanned 2 of my 4 free BBQ sauce coupons and b/c I was sick I over looked it and didn’t care about paying the extra $4.
Then last night when I got home I looked closer and noticed that I grabbed the wrong cheese so I pd full price for 2 cheeses when I was trying to get bogo and I forgot to use my hitchcocks coupon on $1/2 cheese. This morning I went back to Publix and got $10.68 back!!! So I only spent $4.91 TOTAL
The crest whitesrips- there were coupons in the newspaper 1 for save $10 and the other save $5, and there were some pink ribbon coupon flyers at publix that had save $7, the strips I got were in the wrong spot apparently but they were the only strips in the store, shelf said 16.99 -10MQ and -7 store Q, profit 1 penny

I had 2 extra free bbq sauce coupons- save I gave them those, plus I got the right bogo cheese and was refunded for the 3.49 full price of cheese plus gave them the $1Q and I had a salad dressing that was in date but looked like it was going to explode so I got refunded for that too.
1.95 + 1.25 + 3.49 + 1 + 2.99 = 10.68
I did 2 pork deals this morning and also looked at the TGIF snack sizes. It looks like the large size is at the very least 28oz. so, the BOGO will probably only apply to the small size snack boxes. I also got the Crest Whitestrips but I got the ones that were originally $29.99–still a great deal: $17 off each one!
Another deal that I’ve done a couple times now is for Digiorno pizzas. I was lucky enough to find some good tear pads a while ago:
-$1.00 off tearpad for “flatbread” pizza
-$1.00 off tearpad for “ultimate” pizza
-$3.00 off 2 pizzas when you buy a 12 pack of Budlight
-Digiorno pizzas were on sale 2/$10 this week and also Budlight was $9.99 for 12 pack bottles.
This is a deal to me, because basically you get 2 really good frozen pizzas for $5 and the beer would have been bought by my husband for much more at the convenience store anyway!
Which store is the Grape mag in? I have looked in wine isle at my regular store, but did not see.

I looked at 13th and 39th and didn’t see the grape mag either- will look at millhopper tom. after I take the kids to school.
13th st Publix is aggravating me lately- they keep giving me problems with my coupons. They say they will only take one comp q. and started to tell me they wouldn’t accept the cvs comp q and a food lion comp q on the same purchase? I had like 4 people “checking” my coupons. I only went there b/c I see a lot of you go there and I was on 13th st anyways. I think I will stay away from there from now on.

I have realized that a lot of couponing is finding the right store and cashier. But it is embarrassing and aggravating to be holding up the line. In the end it’s usually worth it because I still save $ but still a pain

Sorry for the MIA. I was cleaning out some old expired coupons,fixing to send out to our troops.
Now I am back to your frus.
Publix is great to shop as they allow stacking. But, they have the worst coupon policies.
Even with the same store, the same time period, you have different cashier who has different rules, different customer reps who has different rule, different manager who has different rules.
There is no fix rule that which Publix is better.
Generally, Hunter crossing is the worst.
Millhopper used to be very good but I think some couponers abused the syatem, they started become real nasty about coupons.
13th street depends on which time you go and which customer reps and which managers.
Towel road apparently is pretty good.
Spring Hill (near Sante Fe is pretty good).
I did the charcoal about 10 times.
I went different times.
1. Today is the worst, they would not let me use the Hitchcok $1/2 coupon.
But, when I look closely, it is my own fault
The printed coupon is Retail coupon redeem at Publix (it is not a manufacturer coupon) and Hitchcock is also a retail coupon.
You can use 1 Manufacturer coupon and 1 store coupon (not 2 store coupon).
Ok , that is my mistake.
2. Last night, I was talking to the customer rep and forget to see the receipt until I got home. The cashier did not scan 4 of the dressing $1.50 coupons, grrh. I returned 2 of the dressing and keep 2 of them.
3. I normally do $25 worth of goods each time to make use of the $5 off $25 but last night I decided to buy 3 charcoal and ~$18 worth of meet.
They only let me use 1 $5 off $25.
I remembered seeing one ladies used about 30 of $3 off $15 Walgreens coupons. I think she bought like $200 worth of goods.
But, at 13th Street, they said only 1. However, they let me used 3 of the $3 Food lion coupon.
When she turned down my 2nd $5 off $25 CVS, i asked her so do you accept 3 of the $3 off Food lion charcoal coupons, she said that I can let you use because you buy 3 charcoal.
In fact, I did not take them out cos I heard from Kevin that they only let him use 1 of the competitor coupon even if you buy 3 items.
This is the first time I bought 3x. I thought well, I do not have much time to do more deal, I will try it out.
So this is what I did.
3 char $24
~ $20 worth of meet (use the $5 off $20 Food lion coupon, yesterday was last day to use)
4 dressings (the girl let me use the Hitchcock coupon but she forget to scan the other $1.50 retail coupons)
3 KC Masterpiece
and a few of the instant noddles to make up the number.
I ended up paying $4
It is very frustrating at times, as these people think we are criminal or something but in real fact, manufacturers reimburse them so long as we do not cheat them with fraud coupons.

My 2cents is try to remember those cashiers who are coupon friendly , now how their policy work and go there when they work but of course it might be hard for many of you. I find shopping early in the morning and night the best.
Never never go to the stores at noon or afternoon (3 to 5pm) with handful of coupons, you are drawing attention to yourself. It is embarrassing
Try to avoid that. I used to go to Walgreen at midnight when I started couponing months back

Jamy, did you get the CVS coupons in the mail for the $4 off $20? It came with a couple of other coupons for switching your prescriptions to CVS. I’m wondering if Publix will take this…

I also checked the publix at tower square and there is NO grape mags in the wine aisle. they also would not let me use the $1/2 kraft dressing coupon in comjunction eith the 2 $1.50 off coupons. They aid they do not give food away for free. usually they are great up there but it does depend on manager on duty and the casheir for sure.
What is a Toss for cash booklet?
Jennifer - a couple days go there was still a whole rack of toss for cash books at the williston rd publix, has football fans on front and says $20 in savings, there’s a pic under the “booklet” link in black at the top of the page.

as for the Grape mags, I have checked, Millhopper, Hunters Crossing and 13th/39th and only got 2. They said that the mags are shipped quarterly and they will not be getting anymore. I have given up on the $1 coupon but I have found a .55 coupon in a little booklet I found by the fresh meat/package lunch meat/cheese. It was a ‘Cheese’ booklet. Also had a coupon for Triscuit crackers. Cream cheese isn’t free but .45 isn’t bad.

I found some of the Grape magazines at the Publix by Kmart. They are on the right at the beginning of aisle 11. They also had a cardboard display with “Put clean in your cart” between aisle 9 &

I haven’t been online much, I went back to work 2 weeks ago. This project will only last another week so hopefully something else comes up before that or I am out of work agian. Boy 5 months laid off sure makes you asout of shape. I am an electrician and running up and down stairs with equipment ect has worn me out. Anyway I meant to tell you before that I was told at publix I can only use 1 $5 off 25 per purchase. So I also keep my purchase down to $25 each to get the maximum benifit of that coupon. Sorry like I said I haven’t been on much. Also it was the newberry square publix by kmart that would only accept one competitor coupon per purchase. They will also no longer accept the $5 CVS coupon because they do not have a pharmacy in their store. I no longer shop there accept maybe to pick up some milk or something.
Also today 9/11/09 I saw a bunch of the Grape magazines and some more toss for cash at the new publix in Butler plaza near best buy. If you have never been in there before it is huge. It has to be the biggest publix in Gainesville. So far they have been very coupon friendly. I have had no problems
