“Jamy, I went to CVS today and spent 54 cents on 8 items! I bought 4 bottles of Revlon nail polish ($4.39), 1 revlon nail clipper($3.99) and 1 revlon nail file($3.99) and 2 candy bars. I used six $2 coupons from the publix flyer for Revlon products and I used three $1 mfr coupon for revlon color product. The register was a negative so the cashier told me to throw up two candy bars! The revlon products are BOGO free this week! Mendy”

Goooooooooooondness me, when did CVS start accepting competitors coupons ?

When I read this email, I thought GREAT! But, after calling my CVS, they said they do not accept Publix coupons. I live in Lakeland, FL.

Publix does not take Foodlion (there is no Foodlion within 2hrs. from us), CVS or Walgreens coupons in my area either…much to my disappointment. I have called everyone!

So, most of the time, I am not able to shop with the discounts which you get, Jamy.

Thanks for keeping us updated and doing a great job of it!

Yes, I asked Mendy also. I think the coupon she get is a tear pad (which is a manufacturer coupon) so CVS takes it.

Melonie, I think even if your Publix does not take foodlion or other competitor coupons, you still can use Manufacturer coupon and Publix store coupon and get cheap deal.

For eg the TGIF meals, if you have gotten some of those Toss4Cash coupons, you can get TGIF snacks for free and make some $.

    Also the Relvon products.
Publix has this Green Advantage Flyer, there is a $2 coupon when you buy Revlon products.

And if you go to ebay and there are a lot of people selling 20 of the $1 Revlon coupons for $1 (including shipping). Buy 20 of those coupons.

Publix are selling Revlon nail clippers (medium size) for $1.49 and nail filer for $1.79.

Combine with the $2 Publix coupon + $1 M. Q, you are making $1.50 per nail clippers.

Say you buy 10 of those nail clippers, you are making $15. Use that to buy meat, veg and fruit.

And if you set up a yard sales, sell those nail clipper for 50cents or $1, you are making another $10 and $20.

I always tell people when you are given a lemon, don’t complain , go make a lemonade from it.

I was born with a hole in my heart, a hole in my valve and a 3rd degree heart block, and being born in a traditional Chinese family does not make it very easy to be the 1st born defect female baby. I have never complain about my defects, I made lemonade from the rotten lemon given to me, LOL :)

    Jamy,

Thanks for your response. Could you please tell me where I would find the Toss4CashCoupons?

And I must say, it is always an educational experience when I visit your website. Kudos to you and the delicious lemonade you are encouraging each of us to make.

    Warmest regards, Malonie

    Melonie,
    U are most welcome.
There are a lot of web sites out there who match sales with coupons.
I am not the only one, so not a big deal.

You must be new with this coupon business so you think I am great, actually there are lots of guru out there, LOL.

Toss4cash was a coupon booklet that was in Publix a month ago and I think they are all gone now.

If you are new, I suggest you to do 2 things.

    1. Download the extreme coupon bonaza ebook I have written.
    2. Subscribe to this site and you will receive the latest post I wrote about latest deals.

Come back and we all learn from one another :)

Sometimes Lisa C will notice my senilness and she correct me :)
