This week Pepsi Products, 2L bot, is B2G1.

I remember the last time when we have this deal here in Gainesville, Dr Pepper is included in the Pepsi deal. I do believe in FL, Dr Pepper is bottled by Pepsi and is included in the Pepsi sale specials (don’t sue me if Dr. Pepper is not included :)

So assuming it is $1.89
6 x $1.89 = $9.34
-
$3.78 – B2G1 items
$4.00 – 2 x $2 Publix Q WYB 3 2 ltrs Dr Pepper (Yellow Adv Savings)
$3.00 – 3 x $1/2 Mfr Q any two (2) 2-liter products by Pepsi from
……… the Publix Brochure “making triathlon cool again”
—————————————————-
$0.56 Total for 6 2 ltrs of Dr Pepper!

And if you buy $15 worth of TrueNorth nuts, they are 2 for $5 at Yellow advantage
And there is a $1.50 coupon from the Publix Brochure “making triathlon cool again”
Use 6 of the $1.50 = $9

Total before coupon = $9.34 + $15 = $24.34 (pick up 3pack of instant noddles 66cents) = $25

Coupons used
6 x $1.50 TruthNorth Nuts = $9
$3.78 – B2G1 items = $3.78
$4.00 – 2 x $2 Publix Q WYB 3 2 ltrs Dr Pepper (Yellow Adv Savings)
$3.00 – 3 x $1/2 Mfr Q any two (2) 2-liter products by Pepsi from
……… the Publix Brochure “making triathlon cool again”
$5 off $25 CVS
——————–
Total coupon used = $24.78

What can I say , out of pocket = 22cents for 6 2liter Dr. Pepsi and 6 packs of TrueNorth Nuts :)

So does anyone have the Triathlon coupon booklet left that they’d like to send to a needy friend? I missed the boat on this booklet!

Do you think the soda will stay good until Thanksgiving?
My household doesn’t drink soda, but we have Thanksgiving at my house every year and there are plenty of them who do drink soda. I am hoping that I can buy it and it will stay good until then. It is only 2 months away.

    Jamy,
Can your readers weigh in on which Publixes in Gainesville have accepted $x off $xx cvs coupons? I know Springhill Commons does, and someone mentioned another store in your comments, but I can’t find it now. Which stores in publix could I go to when I have one of these CVS coupons?

    #4691
  12. I have used the Hail Plantation store on 91 st, the Old and the New Butler plaza store and the tower Rd store. All have taken the $x off $xx coupons. The Newberry square store near kmart would not take the CVS one because they do not have a pharmacy. I don’t know how they will do with the Kmart. As a rule though the newberry square store seems very unfriendly to competitors coupons.
Wow I sure have missed alot in the last few days on this site. I have been working 10 hr days and go to school at night twice a week so I just checked in tonight. You guys have been busy.

By the way Myra I read the posts about your english. I only speak english and I can understand you just fine. Don’t worry about it. It is almost like a family on here.

    Kevin,
I do miss you not on board. I get Lisa and a few people to get rain check for the TGIF chicken. If you want 10 of them, I can always spare, tell me which Publix you want to meet on your way to school or something, just shot me an email. If I am not working , I can always meet me and pass you rain check and coupons.
But I personally think the tyson is a much better deal. The meat is bigger pack. Cheap also.

I ordered 20 of the $1 coupons, if you want, just shot me an email.

    Barb,

    Hunter crossing.
    13/39th,exchange square.

I have been so wrong with Hunter crossing. They used to be so unfriendly with coupons. 2 days ago, when I went there, my gosh, I was blown away, they take CVS, they take Walgreen, they take Foodlion, they take Hitchcock, they take Kmart.

I talked to the mgr, I asked him, you guys must have changed of management, he said yes, he only been there 6months and he said if I have any problem with coupons, I can always ask to see him. So here you go, you never know, they change mgt all the times.

Millhopper and Spring Hill (near Santa Fe school) used to be the 2 best but can you believe Spring Hill refused the TGIF coupon, the mgr said for different size. I asked how she define value size, she said bigger size, I said what is the difference between value size and big size, she cannot give me a definite answer. I am not going waste my gasoline on Spring Hill publix.

I will use 13/39 and Hunter crossing for the moment until they change rule.

I have been doing this extreme couponing for a while, I kind of knew how these people work.

    Jamy,
Any more 5.oo of 25.oo coupons out there? I am not able to find them just want to know if any one has a link.
    Thanks

As far as the “value size” for the tgif coupon, if you look at the big package of tgif stuff it actually said value size on it. I was confused too until I noticed this. It is the name the manufacture gave that package size. So technically the manager at spring hill was right and the other ones just never caught it.

  19. Nicole

Yup, you’re right, Kevin. I guess it just depends on the cashier, because I used the value size coupons with another cashier the other day–I wanted to try it out and see what he would do because I had seen that others on here were able to use it–and he accepted them! Now, the thing is, was this right for me to do? I don’t know…and I felt kinda weird doing it, knowing full well that the value size was not what I was buying. But then again, the cashier was using his discretion, so, this is definitely a grey area.
I don’t know if I would do it again if given the choice. I was just astonished that the cashier took them in the first place!

    Kevin,
The 1st store I went was exchange square, the cashier won’t accept, the customer service guy did not want to make any committment so I asked the cashier best go to ask mgr, came back said yes, mgr approved.
Then I went Spring Hlll, first they said yes, then they said no, then they said yes, then they said no, I was standing there like 10mins waiting for their decision. It was stupid cos if they knew outright they would say no. They also not sure.

Then I went hunter, they said the B1G1 considered value size, so here you go and the manager is the one who packed for me.

I have a peaceful mind cos I asked the mgr, I did not cheat them, they did not know then it is their job, not mine to determine what is value and not value. That is my 2 cents :)

Ya the cashiers can’t keep track of everything in the store so it is kind of hard for them. Especially with a coupon that was written so badly. It should have has an ounce or pound size on it instead of “value size”.

    Jamy

I didn’t mean you did anything wrong it is just that the coupon was written badly and caused confusion. You are right it is their job to determine what is what.
