If you do not live in a town with Publix, let me know which gift card you want, I will send you a $20 gift card of any retail store you choose.

Ok I have so many savings. I asked the publix manager on Archer Road to order me in 100 cups of cereal he did I used 100 Target GM coupons and got 100 for free. That is 100% savings 100.00.
Now here is another one Paid 66.82 and Saved 424.00 At publix a mix of all coupons mostly from this site 5.00 CVS and Meat with kingsford combo And those Albertsons BoG2 Free. I have all my sales slips.
Today I went to publix and paid 48.94 and Saved 179.60.
My husband gave me a copy of your artical in the Gville Sun and I have saved so much money.
I now have a new freezer with my savings and yes every cabinet and the freezer is FULL. I have this system down.
I have told many people that need to save money about this and we are all saving.
Thank you for this and the Southern Savers is a good site I use.
I just got back from NC and hit the Food Lion up there. My son is in the USAF and I stocked his pantry.
I love going to the store and have had no problems.
I should add up my savings and post it.
Eve

Eve,
I am sorry, what the competition is about improve Stacey scenario and make it 90% and tell me what coupons you can get to get the saving to 90%
Wow, I am very impressed about the 100 cereal cups. One night I have to work, so I send my hubby to 13th steet publix to get the cup cereal, they won’t let him use the coupon say that is for regular size coupon. I have only got 1 of the cup cereals.
Sounds like Archer road publix is great, so did you get the 100 cups cereals yet ?
Eve,
If you have the time, I would appreciate if you could write down your monthly savings and send to me every month.
I like to have a record of how much we save as a group.
Who knows we all might get the chance to go to Oprah show and come up with a book and published and sell on amazon and imagine the royalty.
And this is not fly by night kind of snake oil seller, it is stories told by real people.
So do you think u can do this favour for me ?
I love your husband, is his name Adam ?
No his name is not Adam but I did send him to Publix and had him use some coupons for me once.
I did not keep all my sales slips I wish I would have. I just started on 8/25 and some I do not have. But I am going to keep them now. I will keep the total.
Thanks
Jamy,
This would depend on having enough coupon catalogs, but:
4 Kellogg’s Special K cereal @ 3.99 BOGO = 7.98
2 Publix reusable shopping bag @ .99 = 1.98
8 Purina Beggin Strips @ 4.99 BOGO = 19.96
1 Jennie-O sausage @ 4.79
1 Sparkle paper towels @ 5.49
Total 40.20
Coupons:
CVS coupon -5
2 x free grocery bag when buy 2 Kellogg’s -1.98
Purina Beggin Strips:
4 x $1/2 MQ RP 7-12-09 (a lot on ebay for cheap)
8 x $2.50/1 Saving for all Seasons
= -$24
Special K
2 x Target Special K $1/2 = -2
4 x Special K MQ $1/1 (Blueberry Spec K) = -4(http://coupontom.com/coupons/couponscom)
1 Sparkle paper towels manufacturer coupon -1.00
1 Jennie-O manufacturer coupons -1.00
coupons = 38.98
40.20-38.98 = $1.22
>than 90% savings
P.S.
Using her quantities and the above listed q’s her total would’ve been $4.38
that’s my best shot without changing her quantities
There was a $1 coupon in last Sunday’s coupon flyers for $1.00 off Discover credit card purchase. I had 2 that could have reduced the total by $2.00.
JB,
How can you use so many Beggin Strips coupons?
JB, I need in %.
Stacey, JB stole from me , ha ha ha. I am just kidding
Don’t know if my math formula is right… had advice
for the 1.22 it would be 97%
for the 4.38 it would be 89%
Stacey- you can use 1 store and 1 MQ per item, so when buying 8 packs- technically you can use 16 coupons on them. Now sometimes you have probs with the cashier but if they accept all the coupons the couple extra minutes it takes are worth it. And I haven’t had as much prob using Publix’s own store Qs.
Don’t try to do that at Walgreens. I’m the one who tried to use a 2.00 coupon on a 1.99 item on Sunday & the manager was screaming at me that I was trying to commit coupon fraud.
Stacey- sorry that happened. That’s so humiliating!
I noticed a flaw in my deal. My # of Qs are greater than the # of products. So to fix this, I’d buy 7 packs of ramen at 4/$0.87 and then the total would be 41.73 – 38.98 = 2.75 93%
and the other would need 5 packs of ramen (1.09ttl) 32.45 – 26.98 = 5.47 83% savings
It’s funny how the more you buy the more you save. And since I don’t have a dog the beggin strips could be sold to profit. (But I’d give them to my mom)
Stacey,
Always look for a filler, a cheap items so the total value of goods a little greater than the products. Ramen noddles is good. But, JB, Ramaen noddles in Walgreens is expensive, it is close to 40cents, I think.
are you wanting us to use the same quantities she had in her order ? haha im confused ?
The only issue I have with printables is that most people only have one printer in their home, so they can only print 2 of each printable..unless we take time to find a friend (who doesn’t want coupons themselves) or make a trip to the library (and hope someone else didn’t do it first) or buy another printer (that may be cost restrictive)…it may not be feasable for most people to print more than 2. The best scenarios are ones that anyone can do. I still think we should show our deals, no matter WHAT coupons we used, because it encourages, teaches and reminds people of other ways to save big money!
Tracy
Just to let u know, you would need 2 computers not printers. The coupon sites keep track of what computers you have used. U can use the same printer attached to multiple computers. That however is still more costly. Unless you have some old junker just lying around you can hook up just to do this.
Today I went to Publix and I tried to use a Walgreens coupon for Campbell’s soup and they would not take it. They said Walgreens is not a grocery store.
I also had a $5 off $50 grocery from Kmart. You could not use the coupon at Kmart to buy clothes, etc. It had to be grocercies only. Publix would not take this coupon either.
I live in Citrus County.
You guys have it good shopping in Gainesville.
can someone tell me please ??? Lisa

are you wanting us to use the same quantities she had in her order ? haha im confused ?
Lisa,
Yes, you have to use the same quantity.
JB,
You have more coupons than products.
Please put some fillers in and include filler price .
JB,
You are close to 90%, continue to work on it. I knew you can
Caroline, come to Ocala! I’m not sure how far away you are from here, living in Citrus, but it may be worth the drive. The Publix on 200 near Paddock mall is extremely coupon friendly and they also have a Kmart near by, so they would probably consider them competitors. Churchill Square(on 17th, near 441) and 40 East (Hwy 40 and 36th Ave.) are also coupon friendly. 40 East takes all Walgreens, CVS, and Target coupons, including the Kmart 5/50 and the CVS and Wags 5/25–with the exception of price match coupons, no Publix take those.
Jamy,

Total = -32.96
12 items and 17 q’s need 5 fillers :
