Greenworks: If you don't already have the coupons, you won't be able to find them now. The summer issue of Greenwise magazine from June (which has been replaced by the fall issue, so you won't find them in stores) had a $2 off Greenworks manufacturer's coupon. Food lion had a coupon sheet in their stores with a $2 store coupon. Most greenworks items are 3.39.

I heard from one of my friend who does not do coupon overhead personnel in Johnsville Publix that they are not going to do coupons any more.

I think this lady must not have heard it correctly. I think as long as manufacturer put out coupons, stores have to honor it.

However, I often wonder about the stacking part.

How would you guys handle when Publix no longer allow
a. competitor coupons
b. overage
c. no 2 coupons on buy 1 get 1 free products ?

Most of us are very spoiled with this extreme coupon and would be so annoyed when these privileges are taken away.

What do you think are your solution to that ?

I think it will happen.

When I started doing blogging, my page rank (according to Google) was 3/10. I got a lot of paid assignment from advertisement company to write product review. I got paid $5 here, $15 there and I was making pretty good money while I was going through nursing school just writing advertisement.

Then one fine day, Google put a bomb, they slash our page rank to 0 for those of us who write paid review on our blog. So with 0 rank page view, advertiser no longer give us paid review to write.

A lot of people were crashed because that is their major source income.

I mean I am sad but I am not affected as much as people who depend on it as major source of income.

So, I like to challenge you to think outside of box that what would you do to save money if Publix takes the 3 coupon policy away ?

I like to hear it from you guys ?

Barb,

Can you share with us about the greenworks dish liquid for 61 cents overage ?

That is a good attitude : "I figure sometimes they do, sometimes they don’t, and I’ll roll with it, not make a fuss, and just be thankful for the times I DO get overage."

I used to write down the shift that the cashier work and go there when they are there. However, I found out that this might not work. As sometimes they are not there.

Remember which cashier is coupon friendly is good. However, I think it also depend on management. I think mgr has a lot of say on how they do coupon. When I started couponing back then 18months ago, Hunter crossing used to be bad, they don't accept any competitor at all. Now they are the most friendly one. Joe the mgr told me he only been there 6months and he welcome us to bring in our coupons.

Last night after work, I went there. Most of the cashiers were young men. The cashier I had scanned all coupons without a blink of the eyes.

I think 13th/39th will take Harveys - maybe because they are the closest to Keystone :) But they wouldn't give me overage last night on a deal I was trying to work. No worries, I just put stuff back. I can try somewhere else.

The $1 off $3 produce coupon that Eve mentioned is a Harvey's coupon. Springhill Commons has told me consistently enough that they don't take Harvey's, so I haven't been using them anywhere, thinking if they didn't, no Publix would. Where are you using them, Eve?

The Exchange (13th/39th) has been adjusting my coupons down (I have coupons to get greenworks dish liquid for 61 cents overage, but a little less than half the time they adjust the store coupon down to match the price of the item, leaving no overage.) I figure sometimes they do, sometimes they don't, and I'll roll with it, not make a fuss, and just be thankful for the times I DO get overage. And try to remember for future trips which cashiers adjust and which don't!
