At Publix this week
Old El Paso Taco Seasoning Mix, @ $0.99
-.60/2 coupon HERE
Birds Eye Steamfresh Frozen Vegetables, 50% off
-$1/1; Blinkie ( I have a number of the $1 blinkie)
-$1/2 Birds Eye Steamfresh Lightly Sauced Varieties Publix Fresh, Flavorful And Frozen & More
(** cannot use the blinkie with the Publix booklet coupon or check with the store mgr or cashier)
Eight O’ Clock Coffee, BOGO @ $4.99
-$2/2 PRINT
Hillshire Farm Smoked Sausage 14 or 16-oz pkg @ $1.99
-$1/1 Link Sausage Yellow Adv Buy Flyer Fall Savings
This is what I would do :
4 coffee $9.98
10 Steam fresh (I knew it was $2.49 and with 50%, it is $1.25) = $12.50
Sausage = $1.99
2 Elpaso = 99cents
Total = $25.46
CVS $5 off $25 = $5
$4 off coffee = $4
5 x $1(coupon book) + 10x $1 (tearpad) = $15
1 $1 sausage = $1
60cents elpaso = 60cents
Total = $25.60
Profit = 14cents.
This scenario will not work out if you do not have the $1 tear pad for the bird eye steam vegetable.
** Add on :
1. Naked Juice yellow advantage 2/$5
There is a $1 IP HERE and Triathalon booklet there is a buy 2 get 1 free.
So $3 for 3 juice. I do not know if naked juice is nice or not but I read this @ IpreferPublix, check out the free items she listed.

I want to know if anyone has ever used the albertsons Q’s for buy 1 get 2 free on meat products? On a blog site called Big Fat Piggy Bank, the girl used the albertsons Q for publix boneless skinless chicken breast and got 3 good size syrofoam packages for the price of 1 ($7.50)
My brother, who works at publix, said you would have to get the meat department to adjust the price to albertson price per lb before using this kind of Q… Please let me know if anyone has had experience with these.
Yes, I have, not chicken but pork long time ago at Spring Hill Publix.
There is a coupon I got from one of the sites for Muir Glen Tomato Sauce. Has anyone found this at the Gainsville or Ocala Publix stores? I could not find it.
Green Thumb-
There is a $1/1 glad force flex printable coupon I found last week when I ran out of trash bags. Don’t remember the link but you can prob google it like I did to find. The best deal I could find for trash bags was to pile on with items that were going to be free (ie yogurts last week) so I could use the $5 from cvs q to go toward cost of trash bags.
I got 1 box of 48ct Benedryl ~$8(had a $2/1 MQ and $2/1 green adv), 1 bx force flex trash bags ~ $6 ($1/1 print MQ), and enough yogurts (bogo 2.50) to make $25
I ended up paying $2 and change ( I think it was 2.46?) Not bad for trash bags and benedryl!
Money Maker deal…Neosporin Lip Ointment
Green Big Fall Savings flyer has BOGO coupon.
Go to iheartpublix green advantage coupon link for $3.00/1
They cost $4.49 at my Publix
4.49 – 6.00 = Profit 1.51
Note that these Neosporin were hard to locate. I found them hanging by a cash register.
Neosporin prints are out
Jamy-
Did you have to get the meat department to adjust price?
Thanks
Liz,
Tell u the truth, I cannot remember, it is the kind of pork where they season for you.
I bring Abie Q to the meat dept, the dept mgr cut and repack and ask me what season I want. I was a bit surprise. I think their price at that time is the same as Abie price. I remember one of my son school mom always do that at Johnsville Publix, they did it over and over, her mom, her grandmom, now Johnsville no longer let people do it. Am not sure if that is the reason, cannot be certain.
But, what Laura C point out is very true if we or the store use Q in a way that is fraud (like what I posted 2 MQ and eventually they will either stop us from doing or jerk up the price), the way this lady did was a bit too much, they will go to the store and buy up lot of chicken meat, the mom, the mother in law, the grandma , the sister, and I also do not know which other relative but I know they did it for a while.
I know a lot of people did the Albie meat Q at Spring Hill Publix. I personally do not find it such a good deal.
The way I buy meat, produce and fish is if I see anything that is free (eg the fiber one deal), I will get those free one for $25 and use the $5 towards the meat or produce. Because I sell a lot of stuffs on the yard sales, I tend to buy a lot fresh produce and fresh meat.
For eg. I get a lot of free Dr. Pepper recently. I knew I can sell them easily and I would use that to buy fish, and other produce.
Liz-
I saw your post that you buy Huggies. Did you know about a website where they will give you 75cents for each bag of Huggies you buy? Little Swimmers, Pull-Ups, and Balmex you can get money back for. Hope it helps!

I shopped at Spring Hill for the first time and had a wonderful check out experience. I saved $144.34 and spendt $1.25! yeppi!
Liz,
Can you please share with us what did you buy. Congratulation. Soon, you will beat Julie record.
Julie, you better get your skating board ready.
WOW! Super Job Liz. What did you get?
Wow. Lots of action on this post! Easy way to tell manufacturer’s coupons from store coupons, no matter what it’s printed on or where it came from:
Manufacturer’s coupons will have a bar code that begins with “5″ or “9″ (with that first number in smaller print than the rest of the number), and will usually have text on it somewhere that says Retailer: we will reimburse you face value plus 8 cents, blah blah blah and usually give the company’s address to send it to for reimbursement. Look for that 5 or 9 barcode. (A manufacturer’s coupon MAY say “Reedem only at publix” or mention a particular store, but if it has that 5 or 9 barcode, it’s a manufacturer’s coupon and will usually (in fact, I’d say always) say “manufacturer’s coupon” on the upper left. Even if you have one that says “redeem only at walgreen’s”, if it says manufacturer coupon on it and that barcode begins with a little 5 or 9, it’s the company paying the bill, not the store, and it’s a manufacturer’s coupon (they WANT you to redeem it at that store, but it can be redeemed anywhere because any store can submit it to the company and be reimbursed)
Store coupons: ALL Publix coupons have “LU#” on them. (stands for Look Up number, I believe).
Other stores may have a bar code system, like cvs, target, and some food lion ones. They are store-specific barcodes but the bar code will not have that little “5″ or “9″ at the beginning. I notice that the target coupon I have starts with 9, but it’s not that smaller 9 that manufacturer coupons have. Plus, it very clearly says “Target web coupon” at the upper left. Store coupons have nothing on them that say “manufacturer coupon” or any note the retailer about being reimbursed.
I don’t know what charcoal coupon you were using (I’m vegetarian, so I didn’t pay attention to all the meat/charcoal posts), so I can’t really tell you which it is, but it’s not unheard of for them to tape store coupons to a product (and perhaps that’s what you mean by “tearpad”? Technically a tearpad is a stack of coupons that you tear off like a sheet of paper from a notebook – a coupon taped to a product is not a tearpad, it’s just a taped-on coupon) Just take a look at it and see which it is. It may be that you made an honest mistake that no one noticed.
The “YMMV” thing is true if it’s store/competitor coupons. Since the store pays, they get to decide how much they’re willing to pay, and therefore how may store coupons to take and stack, you know? But with manufacturer’s coupons, it’s the food company that’s paying, not the store. For the store to take more than one on a single item would be fraud committed by Publix. Not something the store has the freedom to decide on. If they take it, it’s because they trusted you and simply didn’t notice (there’s no mechanism in their register that will detect it like at CVS)
OH, and I just read the discussion about the food lion coupons and able to print them more than once. Food lion actually gave one of the sites (hot coupon world or full cup) permission to put them in pdf form (at one time they told them not too, more recently they have given permission). As did target. So that legality has been addressed. HCW and FullCup are very, very good about making sure something is legal before they post it. They don’t want to be sued or shut down!
Has anyone found the Muir Glen canned tomato products in there store in Gainsville or Ocala? Thanks!!
Green Thumb – Muir Glen products are in the Greenwise section in most Gainesville Publix.
HTH.
Thank you, Laura. I didn’t look in the Greenwise section.
Glad it helps…now I wish they’d just put those tomatoes on SALE! While I have some left from last years stockup when the coupon was easily obtained and these were cheap at WM, the cupboard stock is getting relatively low…
LOL! I only have 1 coupon. It would be great if I had a bunch to stock up on tomato paste.
When I was there today I noticed that, guess what – THEY’RE on sale!! Advantage buy. The little ones are the same price, but the larger cans are advantage buy for 1.50 and then 1.89 or something like that.
Thanx! Now,hopefully I still have some of those coupons around here somewhere and it’d be extra nice if they haven’t expired. I think I have enough tomato paste to last a few years, but tomatoes maybe only 6 28oz cans left.
Barb,
Thanks for taking time to explain. Sorry for the late reply. Have been working the last 2 nights.
Laura,
I love those tomatoes paste, they are really good. Did you get the Hunt tomatoes last week deal ? The ones with garlic is my favorite.
Katie,
I just wanted to thank you for the link for the caregivers market place. I have a 7 month old so I buy ALOT of diapers, it will be nice to get a little money back from them. And to get $0.75 back for Poise pads will come in great handy since they are always on sale, it may make a near free product free. A huge thank you again!
Holy,
I am so glad that this comment section has become so interactive and people are so generous to take time to drop in a line and also post on links that they personally and know and able to help others.
Thank you all.
Holy-
I am glad that you were able to make use of that site.
There is a $2 off 1 Nestle coupon on coupons.com and ButterFinger or BabyRuth is BOGO @ $5.99. If you use 2 coupons it makes $1 per bag!!!
