  6. Hi Jamy and all the ladies.

I just wanted to touch base with you and let u know I am still alive. I have been working steadily lately 10 hour days in the Power Plant in Palatka. So with my round trip that is 13 hour days 4 and 5 days a week. I have been reading all the posts that I missed all the way back to Get Paid to shop. You ladies sure have a lot to say. First let me congratulate all of you ladies for what you have saved no matter what level you decide to participate. I wish I could save like Eve and all the rest. My main problem is I haven’t completely convinced my wife to eat only what we can get extreme couponing. She insists on getting certain things no matter if I can work them into a deal or not. I don’t like shopping with her much any more because she puts thing into my cart that are not on my list :) . Oh well we are slowly getting there. Extreme couponing helped us survive stress free when I was laid off for 6 months and now it will help us provide better for our children and plan for the next time I get laid off now that I am working. I’m a construction electrician and layoffs are part of the lifestyle although 6 month layoffs are not normal. With all the time I work I usually shop on the weekend and make numerous trips if I can get great deals. Unfortunately this week doesn’t seem so good but we have a lot of food in the house from other sales. Any way thanks to all of you for all of your help and encouragement especially you jamy

I see that you list the savings from your shopping trips but do you list the sale items with the coupons to use before the shopping is done? Where do you all find the match ups for the sale items before you go shopping? I look at Iheartpublix.com but even she doesn’t come up the great savings I see on this site. Thanks.

    Jamie,
Most of the weeks, I glance through hotcouponworld , iheartpublix, southernsavers etc and come up with a deal, post the links to coupons or date of insert.

When I post deals from readers, I do not post links to coupons cos they probably got them from the sources I got also. The deal on this post is from Liz’s shopping trip. Might be Liz can answer you better.

It is best to read the latest post for deals cos every week the deal is different. The deal Liz posted might be not current now .

My advise is keep looking at the most current deal.

For eg, this week, my beat is if you follow the deal posted here, you will save a lot :
    http://bricks.coupons.com/Start.asp?tqnm=qfrgeov10311378&bt=vi&o=57102&ci=1&c=GM&p=iKl5VPaY

    Jamie-
I’m not sure if you wanted specifics about that trip or just general advice for getting 98% savings… of course most of those deals are not current- but I still know how to get great deals on the wipes and formula. Let me know if you need those kind of products and I can help you out.

Try to get as many free items and MM as you can and use your overage to make total as close to zero as possible. Hope your couponing voyage has been great, so sorry I didn’t see you post/question until now…
