Fee pasta, eggs, apples for you !

By Jamy

Date : 10/27/09

Start from this Thursday : 10/29/09

Muller Pasta is buy 1 get 1 free @ $1.39 and there is a 55cent coupon HERE.

20cent for a pack is a real good stock pile price. [Best part is they are whole grain]

Say you buy 20 of those.

20 x 1.39 = $27.80
1 pack of apples = $2.99
1 pack of Publix eggs = $1.19
————–
Total = $31.98

Coupon use :
$5 off $25 = $5 5off25-cvs-xp-111009 (thanks Laura C)

20 x .55coupon = $11
Apple $1 coupon= $1
egg $1 coupon Foodlioneggcoupon= $1
10 Buy 1 get 1 free = $13.90
—————
Total = $31.90

8cents for all these, not bad.

Jamy, Do you have a deal idea for the $4 off purchase of 4 general mills coupon coming up in thursday’s sale. Where can someone find a list of general mills products?

Where can I get the 5 off 25 coupon?

  3. Jennifer

Yeah, ditto on the CVS $5 off $25. All the links I have found are expired.

Mendy–If you go to GeneralMills.com you can find a list of their products. I plan on using those coupons for Green Giant frozen veggies. They won’t be “FREE” unless I can find a CVS link that works, but they are cheap enough for me to be happy :-)

    Jennifer, thanks for the idea.

Come to think about it, it does not seem a whole lot of great deal but when you look into it, there are lots of free things this week as well.

Glass plus is $2.49 (bogo) and there is a $1 coupon and GM cheerio is 4/10 and $4 off 4 products.

    10 pasta $13.90
    4 GM cheerio $10
    2 Glass plus cleaning $2.49
    Apple $2.99
    Egg $1.19
    ——–
    Total 30.57

    $5 off $25 = $5
    $4 off 4 products GM = $4
    4 $1 MQ cheerio + 2 $1 Target = $6
    5 bogo pasta = $6.95
    $1 apple = $1
    $1 eggs = $1
    $2 glass plus = $2
    —————-
    Total = $25.95

Out of pocket = $4.62 (not free but I think it is a great deal)

Thanks Jennifer. Tons of products to choose from! Wish I hadn’t used my Muir Glen coupons this week! I think I am going to check into the pillsbury cookies and or bread/cinn. rolls.

Jamy, We should all comment this week on the free or cheap deals we find using this $4 GM coupon with various products. Your readers are SOOOOOO good…I’m sure the deals would be endless!

Yes, I did the apple, egg, and $5/25 (plus much more)deal early this AM at publix. My 15 month old loves hard boiled eggs! Just a heads up, though, the eggs at Springhill Publix are $1.39 doz, not $1.19. Still a great stock up price. Please let me know if anyone sees them in town for the $1.19- I’ll be getting more in a couple days.

The target $1 off $1 or more of bakery items worked well for me. Yummy bagettes, wt mt bread, and BOGO bagels- ends up being a much better deal than the FL $3 off $10 deli/bakery. Can’t beat a 19 cent bagette!

How will you be able to get 20 of the pasta coupoms?

    #5318
  11. Katie

I was looking and if you get 20 of the pastas it will cost you $13.90 because they are BOGO so it will not make your total over $25.

I had heard that Publix had, in the past, closed down the line for a women who shopped with many coupons and that they had someone to check her out that had the ability to override- so that she could have a fast check out and so customers behind would not get mad/upset…

Maybe this person is someone who comes to this website? If so, please share your experience or email me @ volcanorain@yahoo.com

This way of checking out would be different than how we often try to buy filler items and staying away from the customer service radar. I like the idea of not causing too much attention to myself… I just want to know what you guys do to have a smooth check-out, I try to let people know that come in line behind me that it maybe a longer than usual check out due to coupons, but it seems someone never fails to slip in anyways and often they get frustrated having to wait extra. I am super organized with my coupons for check-out, so that’s not the issue, it’s just I always have so many of them.

In no way shape or form am I considering giving up couponing- I save way too much! But I wish people behind me would not get frustrated.

    Please share you thoughts.

The only store I’m really really comfortable with big checkouts is SC. Like Liz, I encourage those behind me to use another cashier to reduce their wait time; most of the time it doesn’t seem to matter to them – the manager is always always accessible for cashiers who need an override. On smaller (eg $25) trips I get filler items just to make it easier on everyone. The cashier last week told me I could come with more than one transaction through her line – “because you’ve had to spend so much time in the store” … it’s funny before couponing I spent WAAYY more time in the store (trying to do compare, do the math and shop at the same time). I went to two stores and did 8 trips in and out in about 2.25 hours.

I’ve had the asst manager come over once in a great while to help the cashier at checkout, that was at SpringHill. I think they need to have a checkout just for couponers, like they have an express line. Just my thought.
I’m planning on Uncle Bens, pasta, eggs, apples, glass cleaner, cookie dough, and cereal.
I’ve already printed out 10 pasta coupons, ordered 10 Uncle Bens coupons on monday, so should be a pretty good week. I know I can’t do too many frozen items right now. I have to clean out my freezer and get it organized and pass out goody bags to the couple of families that I am now helping. I have also been able to help out at work with the Food for Families food drive for Thanksgiving. I’ve actually had a couple people at work just give me money to go do their shopping for them to help fill up the boxes. Too funny !!!
Nice to hear all the comments though.

Liz, Does the target Q have Archer Farms on it? I want to try the bread deal. Is it one Q per transaction?

  16. Thanks for the mention of our site Hotcouponworld.com in your blog! Fabulous deals!

  17. Thank you for making the list:) I have just gotten into couponing and most of my Publix trips I am paying 25-50% of what I was before and the kids have more snacks:)
I have just started getting multiple newspapers given to me by a newspaper delivery person, so if you or anyone here would like to trade some coupons, let me know. We can mail them because I live outside of G’ville though.
I can’t wait until I start paying 1.00 or so out of pocket like some of you. I think one thing that hampers my experience, is that I go to the Lake City Publix since I have classes at LCCC. So, they will not allow any kmart or target coupons. Do you guys know if the Publix’s in G’vill take Petsmart coupons for pet products?
I have also been doing CVS shopping and I am doing lots better there.
But do let me know if you want to do a coupon exchange.

    m-
yes, it’s the target one with archer farms. They let me use several, but I guess it could depend- YMMV.

    mendy-
I was also excited about the choc milk at aprox 30 cents/ half gallon. The store was out, and I already had some at home in the fridge, so I got a awesome raincheck!

    Yes, RC is really useful.

At one time, I did not pay attention to All & Mighty laundry detergent deals, I kind of read it from HCW but have not read into it so I thought to myself, I will pass on the deal(sometimes there are too many deals and having to work full time and part home school my kido, sometimes it is a challenge to find times to do all the free deal). One night while I was in Publix, I thought might be I should see how much All & Mighty detergent cost and wanted to buy it at BOGO but forget to bring coupons and also the detergent was out, so I went to get some rain check.

And low and behold, these 2 weeks, All & Mighty was $2.99, with BOGO RC + $1 coupon + $5 off $25, they are free.

This is really a blessing because 2 months ago, we bought a front loader energy efficient washer and dryer and I did not have any energy efficient laundry detergents (all my stock piles were normal ones) and man I tell you after extreme couponing, to buy full retail price is like cutting a piece of your skin, painful :) :)

Now with BOGO RC and sales price of $2.99, I am stock piling All energy efficient laundry detergent free :)

When you leave a link for $5/25 CVS coupon, are we allowed to print it from that link, or do we need to go to CVS site to obtain a coupon. Can you print more than one? Also, I have read that CVS sends an email with coupons. I have a CVS card and am signed up on line, but the only coupons that I seem to get are for on-line purchases. Am I missing something?
