** I leave it to your liberty to use or not to use the $5 off $25 CVS coupon. Some thinks it is dishonest to use it every time you go as some argue that there is an unique bar code and CVS only allow you to use 3 times.
I look at it this way, if you go to Win Dixie or any stores that have $x off $YY coupons (not internet, but in flyers or inserts, they have the same code and Publix will let you use one of those whenever you go. Sometimes you can even buy $X off $YY from ebay). To me, it is not that we are taking advantage of Publix generosity but it is part of Publix marketing strategy that they allow us to use competitor stores coupons.
Reason I post this is that someone write in with anonymous user name and he/she think it is dishonest. There was once in coupon.com where you can print $5 off $25 Rite Aid coupon and also in Rite Aid site, they even make the $x off $YY into PDF format and you can use it in Publix. (There is a date limit). Since we do not have Rite Aid , we cannot use those coupons.
Like I said before, I leave it to individual to decide on the ethical issue, I am glad that many of our readers are honest.

They have a list of 171 companies where if you leave positive feedfack they send you $ off coupons or coupons for free products. My friend just got a coupon from Hostess the other day for a free box of twinkies!!!

OOP:1School has a picnic so I needed fresh cold meat. I was able to use thr 4off general mills on the planko! And onloine there are 1.10 off each. I will be back with more deals as we have lots of partys to go to! Also, if I would have only spent 25, this would have been almost free, but I went over;)

Regarding using the 5 off 25 each time, I frequently chat with the Publix managers and employees, and they have told me I could use it every time. They don’t have a problem with it and want us to shop at their store. I’ve had an employee who did not know how much I use coupons tell me to bring CVS, Walgreens and Target coupons because they will take them all. That employee told me that the employees themselves are doing this too. My Publix is very coupon friendly!

Has anyone used the Albersons b1 meat get 2 free? I was going to try it today, but forgot the paper at home.
I have done meat deal at Spring Hill store but I do not think they are such a great deal cos they only let me use Publix meat price.

I cant use the $1off 1 coupon. But here is what I am going to do. They have a $1/2 for the breakfast bowls or sandwiches that I can get and I can use the $1 Target coupon. So here is my scenario.
4 Pillsbury Simply Cookies=$8
use 2 $1 and 2 $1.25 and $4/4 GM
10 Jimmy Dean crossaints and breakfast bowls=$20
use 5 $1/2 and 10 Target $1 off
2 Bottles Glass Plus= $2.49
Total:$30.50
After coupons and CVS $5/25= makes trip free!!!
The entrees are also on sale for $2 and I found a coupon on ebay for $1 off man. and if you use the Target $1 off they are free!!! You can get 20 of the man. coupons for $1.99 on ebay. The item # is 370276604407.

A cashier at the Publix on 34th St/Williston Road told me they changed their policy and no longer allow these. I had a $5/$25 printed on the bottom of my receipt from CVS. She said because I needed/used the extracare card they can’t accept them. I didn’t have time then, but will check with management as soon as I have time.

Unless they post it on their store that they refuse $x/$y, it is finite. Sometimes, it all depends on cashier.
I have different cashier in the same Publix told me different thing.
I have cashier told me they have changed policy and that you can only use $x off $y after all coupons have been applied. And the next trip I go, the cashier accept it prior coupon and at that time I was not in a rush so I ask him to ask customer service cos I though there is a change of policy, the customer service said no, he has not heard of the change.
There are not only CVS has the $x off $Y, there are Win Dixie, Kmart, etc, as long as they have the policy they accept competitor coupon, I believe it stands.
Hi all. Ok, went to Publix tonight and got a $50 gas card.. our GOAL is to save a little more on groceries, not on the gas cards themselves, but that is a worthy goal too! I just want to stay under the radar! Anyway..
1. $50 BP gas card
2. 3 Rolaids 3pks @ $1.85 each (used $6/3 man coupon)= $.45 overage
3. 3 Pills simply cookies @ $2 each (used 2 $1.25/1 IP’s and 1 $1/1 man from inserts)
4. 1 Muir Glenn Tom Sauce $.89 used $1/1 AND $4/4 Gen Mills for cookies and Muir Glenn
5. 2 Bear Naked granola bars $1.39 (minus 2 $2/1 IP’s) = $1.22 overage
6. 1/2 gallon Almond Breeze milk $2.59 used $.75/1 blinkie
7. 3 packs Cascadian Farm frozen blueberries/strawberries on sale $2.99 EA used $1/1 q’s from pamphlet (expire today and also a gen mills product, but didn’t want hassles!)

Order total $60.20 tax $.41= $60.61 Gas card (our gas is budgeted monthly so I will try to do this often) cost $50…grocery cost? $10.61!
Savings: coupons $20.25, Store coupons $9.00 (includes competitor), Adv savings $8.76, advantage buy: $4.10..total savings? $42.11
Just my opinion on the gas card. I think getting lower price on gas card is great! However, my goal is to use the purchase of our gas to get me a few more freebies in groceries. If I can use a $5 off $50 or $5 off $25 each time, then that is GREAT! I can use the $5 for ANYTHING I don’t have coupon for..like milk or meat or organic veggies or even detergent (though I have Tide to last for 8months right now).
