Mayra, What do you do when they decide to adjust the coupon and you have planned ahead to spend the overage on another item in your cart?

Is easy, if the cahier or manager want adjust the coupon, I said ok void that item, or paid the purchase and in the moment going to the costumer service and return the item than trying to buying with the overage, because if the coupon is sc fine I understand but if the coupon is MC I dont understand and I dont want understand, because when Publix send that coupon to the Manufacturer, Publix recived the face value more .8 cents.

There are a few things I want to say about this extreme coupon thing : (or wisdom, since I have been doing this extreme coupon thing for a while now):
a. Persevere, patience and endurance (it is like Marathon run) because
i) U go to a store that used to be very coupon friendly before than out of the blue, bang ! management change and the mgr come down with a whole 9yards of new rules (according to one of the store assistant manager, they change mgr every 6 months)
ii) you go to the store in the morning, you use $5 off $25 no problem, then u go to the evening, then the cashier told you, the $5 off $25 is suppose to be after all coupons being applied, new rule. U said since when, she said since the change of rule
iii) you go the next day same shop and thinking that new rule on $5 off $25, then u see a different cashier and he/she takes the $5 off $25 prior to any other coupon applied.
b. The only constant in these changes is YOU ! Don’t let cashiers, assistant managers, managers trick you by getting you all upset and stop going to a particular store. No store is more friendly than the others, it all depend on which cashier you meet that day. Of course generally, there are some stores that are more coupon friendly than the others but don’t bet your $ on that cos one of these days you will meet a mean one.
My take on doing this for months now is if one store give you a hard time, go to the next one, come back again in a few weeks, you will be surprise.
I used to love Spring Hill (before you guys come to my site, I used to use $5 off $25 Rite Aids then they decided that there is no Rite Aid near by, so they won’t take it anymore) , then they started getting nasty, I stopped going for a while.
Today I went there, they were out of Pillsburry cookies and I asked for rain check , I asked them what is the max I can get, she said no max
see ! In most of the other store, there is a max, either 8 or 10, depends on the store manager.
So if you think you still need the Pillsburry cookies, go Spring Hill and pick up rain check.
Also there is a $1.50/2 next to the cookies, combine that with the $4/4 GM products and the $5 off $20 CVS coupon, you are getting free cookies
So, if you want to run this Marathon run with me, be patience and perserve on, we will survive

I asked the question about the overage because this hasn’t happened to me yet, but I always fear it will and wondered how I should handle it so I don’t make a scene.
I would like to chime in on the overage, today I planned a while trip with overage, got the cashier and she said no overerage. So, I bought what I wanted and gave her what I did not. I still did good, so I was happy.
My friend and I went today, she got 27 cans of veggies for 1.27. Great deal! And, some of these she is going to donate for the holiday boxes for people that need food. So all in all it was a great cause! And it cost her little to nothing.
Today I made my last stop with the $4 coupons…I got 4 cookie dough, 4 nut clusters, 2 Perdue chicken nuggets, and 2 Breakstone sourcreams(there is a .55/1 blinkie!!!) and paid $.53!! I saved $36.95. I think this may have been my best trip yet…98%savings. I’m definitely going to miss that $4 coupon!
I am glad that all of us did very well with this $4/4 coupon things.

30packs of Uncle Ben Rice (did not know I have so many coupons)
12 packs of Mueller pasta
7packs of P. cookies
5 cans of Organic tomato sauce
12 pack of energy bar
3 $10 Publix gift card
Pay $9.25 so made ~ $21.
One of the $10 is for this competition and the other 2 might be next 2 competition but I am please with the result.
ok I know it may seem obvious but I went ahead and asked the front desk at Hunters Crossing publix today. You can only use 1 of the $5 off whatever coupons per transaction. I thought that was the case but I was hoping they would lose their minds and say you could use all three.

I use to be able to use $x/$yy and 1 of the RR from Walgreens but since I have not done Walgreens for a while so I have done it.
But, if you buy $75, u can use one $5 off $50 and one of $5 off $25.
When I make a mistake in my math & end up with an overage, I ask the cashier to freeze my order, then go back to buy something else. The cashier can take care of other customers when they freeze your order in the computer. I don’t feel right about getting money back.
So when do we find out the answer?
Will someone please send me a pdf of the cvs cpn - I’ve lost my hard copy and it would seem I never made a pdf….HELP??? TYIA. Oh, labjor@cox.net.
