I did this deal but I’m curious about something. when I bought Emerald Trail Mix at Publix, I was not charged sales tax. When I bought Planters Trail Mix at Walgreens, I was charged sales tax. Hmmm! Anyone understand why?
GT,
It is very interesting that you should say this. The first time I bought the trail mix @ Walgreens, there is no tax, I got 2 packs paying $0. Then the 2nd time I paid 21cents. I was wondering why ? I wonder if it has to do with how I gave the coupons ?
I don’t understand how Walgreens RR’s work… I purposely spent $20 on pepsi there to get the $10 RR back and they it didn’t print out “because I used too many coupons.” It frustates me because I know I got a good deal on them, but it would’ve been a better deal with the $10RR and I prob could’ve gotten them cheaper at Publix if I knew I wasn’t going to get the RR…
Can anyone explain RR Rules to me? This is the 2nd time I got “jipped” my rr.
JB, CVS has a $10ecb this week on Pepsi (Pepsi – 12 pk $20/6 (get $10 ECBs wyb 6) Limit 2)…does Walgreens have the deal also?
“Spend $20 on these PepsiCo Products, and get $10 in REGISTER REWARDS®*!
Pepsi
thru Jan 23″
on page 16 of the walgreens weekly ad
I had found B1G1 free tags on 2L Dr. Pepper at Publix and it says use at Publix but it was a MQ so they took it. But then I also used 2 previous RR and it knocked my total down to just under $6 so my RR didn’t print. Would it have printed if my total was still over $10? IDK thought about contacting the company to see…
Julie,
I just posted the CVS vs Walgreens.
I think CVS will string print the ECB after coupons.
