Liz wrote in and said : “Not sure if you guys had heard about the all detergent deal at walmart/target, but if you bring in the weekly ad from big lots, they have All 32oz 3x or 50oz 2x on sale 2/$5 price match (walmart price was $3.97 ea) and use $2/1 from 1/03 RP
and you get it for 50 cents!”
I have registered to receive Big lots weekly advs and for the sake of Green Thumb as she did not have Big Lots advs, I thought I will post the ads here. And might be Walmart will accept the printed ads copy.
I use thumb nail size but when you click on it, you can print in full size (and also in color)
Also you can view the ads HERE

I posted about that a few days ago. I actualy got mine at Target and they had it priced at $5.
From what I read on another blog, some Walmarts do not price match Big Lots so I was going to try Target. I called Target to see if they would accept a printed ad and was told no. I’m going to print the ad, then drive by Big Lots to try to get a real copy of the ad (I’ll have printed as a backup). Thanks for all your help everyone!!

I dont understand very well..if I have big lots ad and I bring to walmart they give me the price of big lots.
Hmmm. OK, I’ll try Walmart first because it is much closer to me than Target.
Yes, Mayra, it is called price matching from Walmart.
Jamy
oh .. I did not know, you could do that at Walmart..I had to find the ad in the wastebasket..LOL
Thank you!!
Walmart will price match everything except BOGO, 50% off type advertised sales. As long as it’s a dollar amount specified, you’re good to go. I’ve never tried an internet printed ad though - if anyone does, let us know how if it works?
Update, especially for those in Ocala. Big Lots does not have any ads left in the store except the one posted on their board. I’ve called Target two different times today so I spoke to two different people…they will not price match the ad printed from online…it must be the physical one that was in Sunday’s paper. I’ve called Walmart and they said they will match a printout from online as long as it is a store price (not an online price). I’ll let you know how I make out at Walmart.
I did the ALL deal Monday at Target. Actually, I had a great shopping trip there… I don’t have my receipt in front of me, but here is what I got:
4 32-oz. All detergents (were 4.99 originally, price matched to Big Lots 2/$5, then used $2/1 MQ)
3 boxes Band-aids, Hello Kitty 10-packs, found in travel section, 0.99 each (used $1/1 any Band-Aid product MQ)
4 Reach floss, 0.97 each (used $1/1 any Reach floss MQ)
1 Nivea body wash, on sale for 2.99 (used $2/1 Nivea body wash MQ and $1/1 Nivea skin care TQ)-last one on shelf, but I got a rain check for 3 more.
With tax, I paid $2 and change for all. Not too shabby!
I also did the Winn-Dixie deal (I live in Ocala) for free Starkist tuna pouches, great for lunch. They were 10/$10, and I found printable coupons somewhere for $1/1.
Also, Publix has tearpads in their greeting card aisle for 0.99 off any Hallmark card, including the 0.99 cent cards, so I scored 3 free Valentines cards for my kids and nephew! I only took 3 to leave plenty for others, but there were 6-7 tearpads down the aisle full of the coupons at my publix in Ocala (Heathbrook Commons). Just an FYI. Great way to stock up on birthday cards, etc.
I went to Target. I needed to get a perscription filled and saw a coupon for a $10 GC when you fill a new or transfer a perscription. I then used that GC to buy.
10 Bottles All
3 Bottles Nivea
1 Aussie Hair Gel w/ $1 coupon
1 Welch’s Sparkling Grape Juice w/ $1 coupon
My total after GC was 58cents!!!
Looks like there are good deals in Target/Walmart and other stores now and then.
Please post deals to share with one another here so we all benefit from one another in Gaineville and Ocala.
Thanks.
At Hitchcocks Thurs,Fri and Saturday, they have cereal (Cheerios,Trix,Cocoa Puffs, Cinnamon Toast Crunch) 3/$5. On the boxtopsforeducation.com website (you have to register) there is a $1/1 Trix coupon (2 prints per computer) If you can get enough prints for 3 boxes, the cereal will cost $0.67 per box. Great CHEAP cereal.
I am pleased to report that Walmart matched a printout of the Big Lots ad with no problem.
6 All @ 2.50
- $2.00 * 6 coupons (Jan 3)
6 Johnson & Johnson Bath Buddies soap @ .97
- $1.00 * 6 coupons (Jan 3)
3 Starkist tuna pouch @ .92
- $1.00 * 2 coupons (printable)
- $.92 BOGO coupon (Vocal Point mailer)
Total 2.66 + 1.25 tax - $3.91
Glad for you GT.
I will be doing a link on my blogs for all the shops that we go on their weekly ads.
I was talking to Mayra today about doing it together on different shops
For eg.
Albertson is very good on their 10/$10
Target is very good on their gift card
CVS their ECB
Walgreens RR (please do not trash WG, sometimes they have really great deal if you can match their monthly RR deals with store coupons and MQ.
I would like to ask each one of us in getting up a project where we all responsible for one store and post deals we see.
For eg. if we can get $1 coupon on Albertson 10/$10 items, we can practically get those items for free.
I remember it was my coupon buddy who told me about the toilet paper.
They often has 10/$10 toilet paper or 88cents paper and if you get the timing right, you practically pay coupons $ for your yearly supply of toilet paper.
Likewise Target gift cards can be very lucartive too.
I remember last year, the Quarker oats deals was very lucrative.
So, what do you ladies think, you want to commit in this project ?
Let me hear from you. We can help out one another in Gainesville and Ocala area.
