Free razor @ Walgreens this week

As pointed out by GT that BIC razor will be free after BOGO coupon.

razor

At Walgreens this week, Bic hybrid advance disposable razor system with replacement heads or flex4 disposable razors 3 pack is BOGO @ $6.99

There is a BOGO coupon (value up to $6.99 ) on newspaper insert dated 1/10/10 (smart source)

I think there is still time to buy the coupons from ebay.

The last I saw they are selling for $2.50 with 99cents shipping for 10 of the coupons.

That would be 20 pack of shavers for $3.50. I think it is worth it.

* Note : BOGO – Buy one get one free

For me this deal does not work.

that where I went today, let me see if I can explain this .. is 6.99 for two ..
The machine divides the price, 5.99 for one and a dollar for the other, free item.

the cashier put 3.50 on my coupon, and he said, could not put 6.99, for that was not bogo. and told me more things, but I can not explain it, for my language.

if anyone can to have taken the deal, or not to take the deal, can explain to me what I was thankful.

I was able to do this deal at my Wags in Alachua with no problems. I got two and paid $0.48 for them.
I will try some of the Wags in Gainesville tomorrow.

Jamy, could you explain to me how to do this deal? Do you still have to pay for one since it’s buy one get one? So, if I bought one I would get two free?

    U buy 2 and get 2 free.

This is how it goes :
    You buy 2 and pay $6.99 x2 = $13.98
Since it is buy 1 get 1 free so you end up paying $6.99

Now you have a buy 1 get 1 free coupon

So you end up paying $0 except taxes.

    Hope this is clear

    Mayra,

    Try this :
Buy 2 razor, let them ring up $6.99 x 2
Then you use the buy 1 get 1 free MQ
Then you give them the store coupon of buy 1 get 1 free.

    I believe it will work.

Also make sure you get the right product.

    Two things:
I’ve *heard* that you’re better off not trying BOGOF (B1G1F) deals with pharmacies, because many of them do not split the price in half.
Also, almost all stores have the benefit of letting the manager make the final decision on coupons. This could be why Mayra had a bad response. But instead of taking the cashier’s word for it, ask if you can get the manager to explain it to you. You might find that s/he will over-ride the register and accept the coupon!
My best advice, though, is to go to the corporate email address and ask them for coupon clarification. Print out their email response and have it on you if you must stand up for yourself. Just be sure it’s worth it, since you plan to go back in again.

One other way around this is to get 4 razors, you will automatically get two free from the Wags campaign. Then the two that you will buy, you use the coupon on thus paying $6.99 for 4 razors.
I have found that each Wags is different, some will let you use the coupon to get 2 free, while others will make you buy 4 for the price of 1.

Is this a situation where price matching with the store ad at Wal-Mart or Target would work?

They would not let me use said it is not the right razor and the manager said if the product is buy 1 get 1 and they will not let us use buy 1 get 1 coupon.

I will keep my coupon and use it in Publix.

Walgreen is a pain to me , I have not been there for a while, esp the one on 43rd, do not like the manager. He is not customer oriented. 13th street is much better but it is too busy at times.
