What publix in Gainesville will take this CVS coupon they all say that you cant use it if it says anything about a the care card on it. This coupon says that you need to use it with your card. Also when I went to publix they said you can use the 5.00 off coupons only after you use all the other coupons and if you sitll owe 20.00.
Any coments or is this going on with other publix stores in Gainesville?

I was recently denied use of my $3/$15 CVS coupon at my favorite Publix on Tower Road. Does anyone know another store that will take a CVS coupon that requires use of the Extracare Card? Thanks sharon

Hunter crossing. It all depends on cashier, sometimes.

Jamy! I miss you like crazy! Anyway, don’t forget guys, the yoplait YoPlus 4 packs this week is BOGO ($2.50) at Publix. There were $1/1 Q’s in the 1/3 General Mills insert in the sunday paper. If you saved a few of those, you can get those 4 packs for $.25 each! I just bought 8 of them tonight for $2! These are sooo good! Also, I got a free $.99 card. Each of my 3 girls bought their “own” card for $.99, free w/coupon (actually, $.06 tax which mom gave them). They were very excited!

    Tracey,
HC is the one in 43th.
The one near Santa FE used to be very good but now they have changed the policy quite a bit. They will only take $x off $YY after all coupons.
However, having said that, it also depends on cashiers. Some still take before coupons.

The HC one “normally” take after coupon but you will meet some who will only take after coupon.

I miss u too, let meet at the Bagel shop soon, give me a date and we will caught up.

Am not sure if Lisa C has the coupon, I have to ask her, I do not buy newspaper but mostly buy from ebay.

Yes, the cards are really great deal. I am buying them for stock pile cos like everything else, it can be expensive when you do not have stock pile and u have a party to go, someone invite you for baby shower, for birthday etc and it is always handy to have cards.

I have this box where I store cards, I sort them into occasions and I always have cards on hand when I need one :) I am just an organization freak, all my drawers and cabinets are labeled :)

Dollar General has a good selection of cards for .99 or 2/1.00 everyday - no cpns required :)

I’m pretty much buying produce at Save-A-Lot these days - use the $20 giftcards I buy when I don’t spend my budget or I am feeling ‘flush’ with extra cash or whatnot. Again, good prices, often local and no cpns required. SAL does take cpns though -

mine are organized nicely in a bag in my desk. that pretty much wants to let something fall out when i take the little desk part down hahahaha but at least I know where the bag is :)

would love to meet for bagels too if that’s ok?

geesh, wish they’d reset that link to the $2 cpn - get that message that I’ve already printed this (which is true, but not for MONTHS!)

I drop Kira off at 8:45, so depending on where y’all go for bagels, I can be there round 9?

    Tracey,

This wed, I will need to sleep in the monring cos I work Mon/Tue

Next Mon is no good cos I work this weekend

Thurs and Fri would be good (if Thurs, JJ will come along but he is ok as long as I give him a computer netbook)

I can meet you at 8:30 at the bagel and if the time is ok with Laura, she can come any time after dropping Kira

    Tracey Q :
    1. Does the bagel shop has internet connection ?
If there is none, then the better place would be Books A Million if it is on Thursday with JJ cos he can be too talkative to handle without computer :)

Laural, the bagel shop is the one next to the Millhopper Publix.

I wish we can include Lisa C, it would be fun.

Laura, you have not meet Lisa and Tracey. Tracey , Lisa and I were in the yard sales together. I think they were the ones who help to sell the san. pads for you .

Do you guys honestly not realize how dangerous it is to be making plans of where and when to meet on a public blog? Please for your own safety make your plans through private emails.

Thanks Jessica for the warning. You are so kind to even bother to write to warn us. Thanks !

  16. Jamy, I forgot, I am volunteering on Thurs. morning, so I cannot do it then. Sounds like it is good for Laura though. Fri. is field trip day at school, so that is no good either!! I apologize for that one. I can actually do Thurs, but only for about 1 hour before I would need to go..so let me know Jamy! Sorry! We will make it work soon no matter what!

Jessica: thanks for the concern, that is wise to remind us to keep our specific plans to ourself. Of course we are just doing a public meeting in the morning, so we should be safe. However, I agree that the less personal info you share online, the better, so thanks for speaking up!
