Money making deal @ CVS this week
Date : 1/31/10
I have not done CVS for a while. But, I notice this week might be a great money making deal if you have the coupons.

Buy 10 of the fuze drink $10
Buy 2 Dove man product $10.98
Buy 2 secret deodorant $5
Total before coupon = $25.98
Coupon use :
There is a buy 1 get 1 free coupon for the fuze drink = $5
There is a $1.50 coupon for Dove man product = $3
There is a 50cents coupon for secret deodorant = $1
Total coupon = $9
Total paid out of pocket = $16.98
Get back ECB :
Spend $25 get $10 ECB
2 Dove man product = $10.98
Total = $20.98
Profit = $4 (your investment is $16.98 + tax)
Correct me if I am wrong, I welcome correction

Sorry Jamy, the spend $25 deal is only for the products in the green section of the page..the dove items are not included in that deal! BUT, if you happen to scan your card and get a $4 off $20, you can spend $20.98 (I wouldnt get the Secret, that is just me), minus the $4 = $16.98 minus $8 in coupons = $8.98 plus tax. Get back $10.98 in ECB… still a profit! Scan those cards, or maybe someone got a printable coupon link from CVS this week?

I have barely started couponing at Walgreens, and I think I am already ready to quit
I had a good plan, but then they never seem to have what I need in stock. Does anyone have any uplifting advice to keep me going? I’ve heard online of managers doing special orders so that everything is in stock and I was wondering has anyone tried this in town? Or maybe there is a certain store that is more likely to have items in stock?
Please help…
Has anyone heard of any Publix’s in town accepting RR’s or of a particular Walgreens or manager who will special order items you need, or will hold them to the side?
I’d love to learn how to do Walgreens- Anyone who coupons there regularly, PLEASE give me some advice! Or if anyone has tried Walgreens and stopped or changed over to CVS- maybe you could share you experiences.
I think Walgreens would be a decent deal if they supported enough stock on sale items, or if their rainchecks could still print RR- but it just doesn’t work that way…
For the upcoming Publix sale:
Buy 2 Dixie plates = 2.99
Buy 2 Dixie napkins =2.69
Use two $.55/1 Dixie or Dixie Ultra paper plates or bowls – 01-24-10 RP
Use Free Dixie Napkins wyb any two (2) packages of Dixie or Dixie Ultra plates or bowls. – 01-24-10 RP – valid up to $3.00
That would mean you get two plates and two napkins for $1.89 total (.48¢ per item!!).
I emailed Michelle at I heart Publix so she could post!! This is an awesome deal!!
Liz,
In the past when Walgreens have lots of RR. I used to use it in most Publix but I have not use them a lot since cos I always able to find $x/$y CVS.
I know Publix place special order, but for Wags, I ‘used’ to ask them to give me rain check.
The only advice on Walgreens is go to Wags at early Sunday morning (the 13th and Newsberry/34th street one is 24/7,). I used to do that but not anymore.
